@aiadvocateorg If you're trading crypto, you should be worried about latency at the network level before latency at the machine level. Co-locating your bot in same AWS region as exchange servers is gonna make a much bigger difference than using Python vs Rust for your bot.

@IAMERICAbooted Specific example was an AV vendor that doesn’t work without allow listing all of AWS and Azure public IP spaces. Their DNS only gives one IP per request and rotates every minute or so. The firewall and client endpoint never got the same IP to allow at the same time.

Imagine SLAs with teeth. AWS promises 99.99% uptime but self reports their metrics. With Temporal Proofs, every millisecond of downtime is a verified fact. SLA credits aren't negotiated. Your vendor can't lie about availability when availability leaves proof.

AWS Load Balancer Controller kept throwing 400 error when I updated my ACM ARN. It didn't say "hey stupid, your cert isn't valid yet." That would have saved me a lot of time.

Do I know anyone running using @PlanetScale in AWS Lambda successfully? Having problems with network latency. Lambda and @PlanetScale run in eu-west-2. Cold starts usually have ~500ms latency, and can't get warm requests below 70ms.
