Just got this from up. It won't be impacted by the public holiday on our end as it is just a state based public holiday, but this may impact things on Centrelink's end, we just can't speak for them as such. Centrelink payments are processed through to us in batches, so it may be that this has been sent in a later batch by them which would explain why it didn't arrive at the usual time. If you haven't already, we suggest reaching out to them to confirm they haven't had any delays on their end. Appreciate your understanding.

Correct. I know at least NAB has their payments and I’ve only seen people complain for Bendigo and upbank which I believe is covered by Bendigo. So yes I would say it’s Bendigo issue, she said they just haven’t received them yet to distribute them. She really didn’t know much though. They’re so slack it’s crazy

Yep 100%. Not helpful for people that already pay their rent a few days late and need groceries. Someone is to blame, it just seems more likely to still be a bank issue than centrelink

I just spoke to Bendigo bank unfortunately they haven’t received anything to process payments normally they would’ve got it yesterday and processed it for people to get at midnight or after, they don’t know when they’ll get it and they’re looking into it because they’ve had heaps of calls already this morning. They said other banks have received their centerlink payments so they’re not sure why it’s happening

Hey just got this from up. Thanks for reaching out. Our systems are operating normally, so there's no delay on our end with receiving payments. We don't control the time payments come through to us and don't place any holds on incoming transfers, so as soon as we receive the payment from Centrelink it will be visible in your account. I'm sorry we can't be of more help with this right now.

It's not just UP. Bendigo bank payments haven't gone through either. My centrelink says the same that next payment is 6th Oct. It's weird because Monday 6th is a public holiday so does this delay mean we dont get paid until Tuesday??

@bendigobank Changing, never coming back. We are in a middle of a heatwave and i couldn't buy myself water when I was severely dehydrated because you guessed it. Another outage! Had to Rely on strangers to buy me water. Absolutely fed up with these outages.
