Are network issues ever caused by the RSP? It seems that most of the time, they would be an NBNCo caused problem, but NBNCo refuses to provide direct technical support, and always pushes it to the retailer to deal with, wasting resources, increasing downtime and customer dissatisfaction. In the same house for a decade, changed RSPs more than 10 times, and still the same persistent issues, regular drop-outs and slowdowns, unscheduled outages without explanation. Hardware, plan upgrades and retailer changes never fixed any issue. Its high time for NBNCo to be thoroughly investigated by the Telecommunications Ombudsman and the ACCC, from top to bottom.

Internet has been down since 3 and still is down, I only get 1 bar of 3G where I live so even getting enough reception to send this was a nightmare. When I called dodo the worker I spoke to straight up lied to me and changed his story three times. I was planning on switching companies soon anyway because the price went up and we lose internet maybe 3 times a week (usually briefly) just been a nightmare company to deal with, I’ll be switching asap. Vodafone did actually care, were helpful and CONFIRMED outage in area anfmd still working to resolve (our home wifi service) So i went to Coles, bought a 'Belong Mobile' SIM card under Telstra network. Transferred my number and everything back to normal 5 MINUTES LATER! Enjoying constant 5G too BYE OPTUS network and any telecommunications on it, we are done once and for all!
