Eden Beach is NOT a Velocity area and therefore NOT affected by the Opticomm fibre FTA shut down - BUT we still have NO SIGNAL as at 4pm 29th December

OptiComm fibre optic TV! I have No Service for free to Air Tv Channels in Ridgewood 6030. Service has been down since Saturday the 12th around 4 pm in the evening! Phoned OptiComm on 1300 137 800 and of course the Lines are Busy! No text, or Outage communication from the service provider!! How long is this going tom Take?
@OpticommAU no internet in over a week, Telstra have confirmed opticomm WILL NOT attend even though admitting something is definitely wrong and has been botched on the providers end Terrible internet provider, Grubs of a company
@Telstra Any chance you’re going to restore my legacy velocity Opticomm service I pay you $89 a month for. I’ve had constant breakdowns for 14 months and it has been out five out of the last seven days. I can’t work with no internet.
Update 24/03 2:34am: Service disruption is caused due to an unplanned outage caused by our backhaul provider Telstra. Telstra's technicians are investigating this issue. Further updates will be provided shortly. Update 24/03 6:24am: Telstra Fibre Technicians are still trying to locate where the actual fibre cut is. Further updates will soon follow. Update 24/03 5:50am: Telstra's Fibre technician is onsite investigation. Further updates will be provided as soon as we get one. Update 7:20am: Fibre restoration works by Telstra technicians in progress.
