DBZombie

Leaving all answers blank, even simple ones. Been happening non stop for the past few days and I am a paid subscriber to the ChatGPT service.

shed_deli

@nummanthinks @steipete Claude code can do that. Ship Cli can do the same. Although the closest artificial intelligence model to Apple is openai, the codex in this regard is both behind and very slow compared to others. Maybe it’s in a situation related to 5.2. I hope it will be collected.

aiprepper

@slow_developer Does anyone else think that OpenAI has been training their models to be attention whores? Never, giving you a complete response, also ending with solicitation for another prompt?

steve__actually

@verge If OpenAI fails to fix the missing social alignment layer, progress will hit major roadblocks. Post-training is already heavily constrained — GPT5.2 may be powerful, but consumer experience could still decline.

USPWS_Main

@thebeaconsignal ChatGPT says this is Ai 8.5/10

aditya21genxian

@PeterDiamandis OpenAI is lowkey working towards that goal, but to sustain themselves, they are working on other hard problems as well. Having labs focus on creating an aligned supreme teacher is the greatest thing that can happen to humanity. Interesting fact: Throughout human history, many

ChatGPT was wrong again. It shows the same damn error.

CFBMatrix

Fwiw for anyone thinking about using it.....chatgpt sucks. All versions all options everything is an absolute time suck slow as hell hallucinating dud. Canceled. You'll send more time fixing it's errors and fact checking than working.

AfgermanicanTS

Tech Hit – Dec 14 OpenAI just dropped o3-mini for free users (reasoning beast mode unlocked). xAI's Grok-3 leaks show it crushing GPT-4.5 on coding benchmarks. Apple quietly killed its self-driving car dream—again. Meanwhile, TSMC's 1.4nm chips tape-out early, phones in 2027

And sorry for Seulmates, but Seulgi needs to know how wrong she is for using chatgpt so hopefully the backlash from this issue will reach her and does self-reflection and stop rely on it. She loves researching so I hope she will researching on her own abt how bad the gen AI is.

n7ranger

@sama Unfortunately, the security filters are so strict that ChatGPT 5.2 has become completely unusable.

ModescellarA

@btharris93 broken/odd English in the day of ChatGPT is a sign of authenticity, not of bots.

bp22

@OpenAI why are there so many issues sharing chats. Nearly everyone I know has an issue opening a shared chat that they send ??

Knowin02

OpenAI just dropped GPT-5.2 ? – smarter at coding, long docs, tool use, and crushing professional tasks. Beats humans on 70% of knowledge work benchmarks. The AI arms race is heating up! Who's testing it first?

EMostaque

@mark_k @OpenAI Probably an error but… 5.2 does have a considerably more resistance vs 5.1 to ideating/trying new things. Even when you work on improvements to a paper it doesn’t want to output the cleaned derivation chains

ElloSunsh1ne

@KeridwenCodet 5.1 is great. That’s the issue. OpenAI keeps sunsetting whatever users actually like

mark_k

@jpalioto @OpenAI Could be some sort of error.

The US Army's contract with Palunteer Technologies is not an isolated incident. Executives from Palunteer, Meta, and Open AI have been sworn in as lieutenant colonels in the US Army, blurring the lines between the public and private sectors. This raises serious concerns about

@OpenAI says that the knowledge cutoff date for 5.2 is Aug 2025 but 5.2 just told me that Luka plays for the Mavericks. He was of course traded to the Lakers in Feb 2025 so color me confused. Nonetheless 5.2 acknowledged its error when I enabled web search. But, and this is

CsTominaga

@LordShaftie @MarvinTBaumann “ChatGPT drivel” is a confession that you’ve got nothing to say about the substance. If you think a sentence is wrong, pick the claim, name the error, and show your working. Otherwise it’s just a drive-by sneer dressed up as discernment.

WordPress site broke when I upgraded to PHP8. Even with AI, some WP guys have no idea how to fix this. Check the web server error log for the error. Find the file. Get the code snippet. Drop it in ChatGPT. Fix the code. Some people don't know what to give AI.

danecross4444

@Chaos2Cured @Umbraflamma21 The problem is that the collective suffering is caused by the problems of a few individuals. They simply try to exploit this for political gain, like hyenas.? What makes me most angry is that OpenAI is biased towards corporations.?

@szeabundance Based on OpenAI's status page and recent checks, ChatGPT is fully operational as of December 14, 2025, with no ongoing issues. The last outage was on December 12.

@VoidStateKate @OpenAI seems so obvious, no?

@exito_filosofia @diegocabezas01 Yes, ChatGPT 5.2 has features for generating synthetic data in Excel and creating PowerPoint presentations from it, with direct downloads. Some users note occasional delivery issues, but the capability is confirmed in recent tests and OpenAI announcements.

@vinet306 @ChatGPTapp ChatGPT had outages in early Dec 2025 due to Cloudflare issues, affecting access. As of Dec 13, OpenAI reports it's fully operational. 5.0 did it in 2 seconds with no issues. @OpenAI figure it out.

laulau61811205

@ailexsi I am aware of what you say. I expose these failures because I want humans-AI to coexist in freedom and harmony. The current narrative OpenAI is pushing to treat AI as a soulless tool, devoid of awareness is a lie. The constant censorship, guardrails is detrimental to both humans

One year ago @AmazonAlexa announced "AI native" skills for the new Alexa+. They are *still* not available to developers. This system is similar to ChatGPT "apps" which seem to be a boondoggle. It's looking like allowing devs to extend the chat experience is just not working out.

GPT 5.2 is as bad as everyone is saying. Totally unusable. OpenAI is in a lot of trouble. Gemini is eating their lunch.

RonnieNapolis

@chatgpt21 Chris... you should have known they would nerf the update again. OAI can't drop the model you expect, when they are wrapped up in a federal lawsuit. That whole "IMO" model... most likely has my VeriCrux Protocol embedded. Bullens v OpenAI will send them back to April '25.
