It's like with road works. In Germany or other parts of civilised world, 1km of roadworks, resurfacing, brand new takes 3 weeks. In UK 3 months. Once I traveled through Germany. There was 10km roadwork on both sides of dual carriageway when I traveled through it. 10km, machinery and people everywhere, working! When I was travelling back same way 2 weeks later all was beautifully resurfaced 10km, done within 2 weeks. In here 10 km means a year as I've seen on 3 mile long oradworks in Norfolk, all waiting semi finished for ghosts to finish it.

21st century UK, Mobile broadband speed 3Mb/s a ..... joke. You pay for it 10 folds more than you should. I was last week in Poland. Speeds constant night, day, 4G 15-25Mb/s, cost 2 times less than in UK. Same with broadband. In EU you can get 1Gb/s fibre for 20 Euro per month, UK twice that for barely 200Mb/s. Where is this digital kingdom you've been promised by RED BUS people. To me looks like 19 centrury in comparison to the rest of the World. Soon Africa will be faster.

Recently moved from Smarty SIM to Unite, both middlemen for the Three network, both experiencing issues. Smarty outright throttled usage and blamed everything on congestion at masts but Unite's service increased up and down by a factor of 10, proving Smarty's reasoning was essentially false. Two weeks later though and it seems Three's network in general is buggered on the upload. Currently averaging 0.8MB upstream and this has been so for a week.

My outdoor three outdoor hub and eero keeps disconnecting wifi since last night. Not sure if it's an update or it's become faulty. I have reset various times and the issue persists. Is anyone else having same issue currently. Area is Southport Crossens/Church town. When it disconnects from devices, the hub is still showing as on and so are the eeros. But all devices disconnect from them. I have further eeros as a mesh system and have never had these issues before.

Home broadband has gone from 500Mb download speed to 7Mb over the past couple of months... They keep on copy and pasting some pre-written response about my area having limited coverage (which is obviously false since I had fast speeds before, right)? After telling them that, they then told me that there's work being done on something that's taking longer than expected... I'm supposed to get an update in a week, but I have a feeling it's not because of the work being done since the speed has been slowing down for a while now (approx. 6 months).

Chessington service gone downhill over the years but recently been no service or very weak signal moments that last hours. Even when good signal, the thru out has got worse. Been with them for 15years now and really miffed no decent broadband options, no fiber, no cable, just naff ADSL options where you get to pay for a service that you will never get. Hence Three was better choice, but nowadays, it's just becoming unreliable to the stage that it will go once alternative option avails and sad to be looking at satellite just for internet. Maybe the Digital ID folks can pay for it, as had to pay for everyone else for everything else.

07-10-2025 Three having issues with 5G since workman were seen at the top of the two local masts. Prior I use to get 5g w. 3-4 bars great download speeds. Now only 4G with 2-3 bars. Three now force users to use an app to contact them and all you get is the standard rubbish read from the same script that all networks use. No way of speaking to a real person. A HUGE no no.

Same here - Central Manchester so no "rural areas" excuses here or claims about Cellular Tower issues because we have 5G towers littered all over the city and it's been awful for months now - only reason I stick with it is because I'm about to move house and as soon as I do I'm cancelling! I have the 5G Hub for Home Broadband which has generally been quite stable but this year has been a nightmare especially when trying to work from home. There is nothing wrong with your phones or routers I've been through all the "troubleshooting" and spending hours on the phone with them trying to convince me they are looking into it yet it's frequently down for hours and hours at a time, no explanation, no mention in the news or online, no notifications or "Sorry for inconvenience we are down for maintenance" messages, nobody seems to mention it, resolve it or even explain to customers what happening and £0 is offered by means of compensation. My advice for anyone else having issues with Three is to keep a diary, take notes, use the live chat and save / screenshot the conversations and raise it via the Communications Ombudsman as soon as you are able (if you have the time and patience!), failing that just cancel and use another provider to save paying for a service you are not getting - ok rant over!

I cannot believe social media has stopped when THREE continue to have LOTS of problems, like no proper internet speeds for days/weeks now (Taunton somerset)!!!! I bought a Data SIM for Three network and have constant issues with dropped internet connection. Once dropped it will never regain its connection. primarily it's for my car's head unit for live navigation using my phone as a mobile hotspot. luckily it's taught me not to buy another one when this expires in October. fortunatly I can switch back to my Lebara SIM for data, but I don't have much data on that plan, but given it's consistent reliability I will up my data plan and burn the Three SIM.

20th July 2025 in Brighton, East Sussex. I am trying to connect to Three so I can watch iPlayer, etc. but all I get is a message saying the connection is unstable. But I have all the necessary lights and signals to suggest otherwise. When I look at the Three network checker, it says they are working on fixing an issue in the area. I swear this message is always there. And I have got to work from home tomorrow and how the hell do I do that without any internet?? 🤬
