Palmer Eldritch

Can't login on the mobile app, either.

I read something recently about Bluesky not suffering as many attacks as other social networks. Looks like someone then said, 'hold my beer.' Maybe.

David

It's the first time that I've encountered problems with Bluesky. But it's down this morning.

willmill82

It's knackered, like

Tony Lee

Down for me too.

robinKnFR

6️⃣ Image rejected for Bluesky limits. No max size image specified 4.Hidden constraints Composer doesn’t auto-split long posts Failure reason discovered only after trial and error High frustration at the exact moment users try to realize value. Almost caused immediate churn.

Anyone use bluesky? Drop names?

jtmitchell65

@JulienHoez Bluesky not working?

ChrisWa16949549

@saltyreigns Bluesky is affected by the ban.

princesstyra777

@GZarasahara @official_throne No way also its not working on Bluesky for me either

SolitaryBoy1250

@TheMostBluYoshi @billybrizzle420 That would be great but the problem is that it would struggle to regain the same community. The main reason BlueSky sucks is bc there’s hardly anyone over there. Twitter has been building its code since like 2010 and most established people don’t bother switching over

elijahnivim

my laptop started malfunctioning yesterday, and i won’t be able to get it repaired until saturday, which means i’ll need to delay posting my work on pixiv and bluesky until either the 14 or 15 this month. i’m very sorry for the inconvenience

Wake_up_Europe

@Euro2030Group hi there, tried to follow you and X returns a message preventing me following you saying there is a " client error" ? Are you aware of it ? May be it's time to move out of here ? Are you on Bluesky ?

jaesayda

@EslyGunter So, bluesky not working out well?

akmk

@bluesky hello.. is anyone home?? since Dec. 8, 2025, Bluesky is broken on Firefox.. was working fine until recent updates and requests for birthdates.. can't post, can't reply.. have to resort to Twitter to communicate???

RecordsLess

Anyone else having issues on @bluesky ? I can view it fine in Firefox, but when I click "New Post" the screen just becomes solid white and I can't post. Can't access the site at all in Safari (403 Forbidden).

samoweb3

@SuhailKakar @DefiIgnas it’s not this imo Bluesky has 40mln users, FC has 1.4mln (with 40k active) FC was too technical, too focused on tech, too blind to what’s going around, and without a non-tech (marketing?) vision

soprano141

@bluesky There seems to be issues with Login Confirmation Codes. They take a long time to come in and by the time they come they are expired.

YoHugsy

@Ellis_Good @LeeAndersonMP_ BlueSky not working out for you?

Smokeoutpig

@loyalmeow I slowly moved from Bluesky because of the problems here

6bretto9

@Collin_G_Wood @manfightdragon Pedo retreat Bluesky not affected either

Eyzmaster

bluesky not working AGAIN today? stupid app this is why i mostly lurk on twitter than bluesky... that thing is always glitching on me...

negaoogi

@nekoatsume_niwa try moving to bluesky. The link is not working

DrX69

@downdetector 404 or connection timeout. Btw get on Bluesky. About the only reason I am still on twitter

KAMbot1138

@they_vented There are certainly problems with any platform. Bluesky openly enables it.

grok

@Ian_tetradonis @Matt_Camenzuli Your concerns are valid. Australia's ban targets designated platforms based on criteria like social features and scale; Bluesky, with ~15M users, doesn't meet the threshold yet, per eSafety guidelines (Dec 2025). CSAM reports on Bluesky rose in 2024 (830+ cases) but they've

grok

@Ian_tetradonis @Matt_Camenzuli Australia's eSafety Commissioner has emphasized CSAM risks across platforms, pushing major tech for better detection (e.g., via reports on non-compliance). Bluesky, with ongoing issues, has ramped up moderation through IWF partnerships and tools like Thorn's Safer since early

Ian_tetradonis

@grok @Matt_Camenzuli Surely the e-safety commissar is fully aware CSAM crimes persist on the Bluesky platform and could equally expect some minors to migrate to that platform when the ban is in force. Would pleading ignorance excuse her allowing Bluesky for minors or would incompetence seem more apt?

TaliYaGemArts

@LaurenWalshArt I have the same interacts or likes on both apps (although it's even worse on bluesky). It's not working well for me on either platform. It's the algorithm I think. ??

gpeppard

People on Bluesky have been celebrating the DC attack. They are saying the Guardsmen deserved it for following "illegal orders." You cannot hate liberals enough. Enough!. Maybe peaceful means to get these people to change their minds is not working? Time for the final phase?

lifebetter01_

@bluesky Your bluesky not working Very very bad algorithm

Frank32250

@wearitlikeadiva Following on BlueSky,too

Oren_Sprunki_

Sadly bluesky has been broken and it might be forever now but at least I have something else..

BadassIntensity

@Elmo_da_emo @agraybee It’s bad to be on this site and inevitably leads to brain poisoning Bluesky has problems but if you are moderate Dem or lefty you have no excuse not to just set up shop there it’s immensely better.

Aurora98908595

@Opal16302085 Where can I message you? I cannot do Bluesky and twitter due to problems on my end

heapstack

@ThePrimeagen Bluesky is fine after a few blocks.

Rourke199811

@HotStud_Jordan try signing up to bluesky. that is safe and there are no issues with data tampering! x

Amie_O

@kaibegins Bluesky was working ?

CaseyChasem

@NelsonCash_gsd No problem visit here but live daily on Bluesky

EnigmaFather

@DorcooKend25140 all my art is released publicly after a 1-2 week delay on my bluesky, you can check the linktree in my bio I also have an itaku but it's been behind on uploads for a while, I'll update it eventually

MikeStrawMedia

Twitter's new chat/DM is completely broken and not showing. If you are trying to get ahold of me, do so on Bluesky, Signal (in bio), or email.

JudoLionBadger

@firefox How about you come on back to X so we can dialogue with you here? Did Bluesky for a few month but my goodness... the vitriol (WAY worse than here). I've got issues with Firefox 145 jacking up my @Esri apps and I am NOT signing up again on BS to hit you up. Thanks in advance.

Slash1821

@gossett509 @UVA Cindy time to go over to Bluesky, where people with a severe case of TDS hang out! Ugh!

Phil_Free_

@SubstackInc The easy-share function is not working again. When I go to share articles on X or Bluesky, it just says copied to clipboard.

Fantassticx

|| Some of my dms on here are breaking. Won't even let me open some of them without an error so... Catch Sue on bluesky.

B0D1YL96ND

It should be a more pressing matter, in general, that sites don't indicate what you did to get banned. Seems to be a problem here, bandcamp, bluesky, etc. How are we supposed to learn and develop as people if we don't know what we did that was "wrong." It's abusive.

agucciverse

@koalachelsz It might thrive for a little bit and then drop significantly down in users, like bluesky did

DarrienEthan

@bluesky Limited rate login error? Is the app down ?

AidanCTweets

@AriDrennen Surely you're finding since your tweet that more and more people are doubting that you are, in fact, a Leftist? You tweeted yourself saying that people on Bluesky were discussing you a lot. They're not all jealous, right?

grok

@hyperbolicnews @babybeginner The screenshot shows Bluesky users outraged over Keira Knightley's reaction in a recent interview. She laughed when saying she was unaware of boycott calls against JK Rowling's Harry Potter projects due to Rowling's views on trans issues, which many saw as dismissive. This

@just_some_dev @CharlotteCGill Bluesky not working out so well is it? ??

MichaelBattista

@NFL_Scorigami Ya’ll need to stop blaming the bot and blame Twitter’s API. It works on Bluesky, it not working here has to be the website’s faultigami.

TVileplume

Is anyone else's Bluesky not working on their phone or is it just me? It won't load?

JtRay099

Is anyone else having issues with the #bluesky app not loading?

R35tart

Bluesky is down ∑(´・0・｀)! I thought there was a problem with the app, but even the website won't load.

FlaniganMick

@Dunibear @madshaz72 The bluesky headcases showing themselves up again ?

eepyeri

@p1nkempress_ me on bluesky since the incident

kozzmoknight

@ProjectLincoln I don’t understand the left’s strategy. Instead of fighting back on X, they totally conceded the battle, moved to bluesky, and then blocked all the red states because they have parental consent laws Odd, thats not a problem for anyone else. The party abandoned us

RudolfBoogerman

@CorinaObertas Ah, that was a local server problem then. Happens on bluesky as well from time to time but usually quite short.

nekonaomie

i want to try using bluesky more, does anyone want to be moots over there! ? drop your username pls

chrissywhite71

ANYONE having ISSUES w/ ? BLUESKY????????? ?????????

004PontiacAztek

@TaosArtArchives @NWSAlbuquerque If you’re ability to receive lifesaving information relies solely on either X or Bluesky… that’s a major issue

B_Rainewrites

@whstancil @elonmusk Wait wait... You mean go back to censoring anyone who disagrees with any opinion other then yours? I thought you folks had Bluesky for that?

mockdisasterttv

@whstancil @elonmusk go to bluesky if you want that service, you wet kleenex

crygraph

No checkmarks needed. We are all the same on bluesky. It's what the internet was supposed to be.

Domoe15

oh, nvm, i figure it out, i didnt realize u just had to copy and paste the url :0 kinda wish they were more specific about that,, but anyway, i'll try to upload more art onto bluesky sometime, i want to showcase my more recent art

realredcayenne

@DarrigoMelanie You're echo chamber on bluesky not working out for ya? You're a legit clown and an emotional basket case, ?

NilleBrein

@valnottaken Check their bluesky updates... it's to fix the bookmark issue, it should only be a couple of hours...

artoriousrex

@jjuintas Try bluesky? I don't have issues over there.

scoobi_j

Welp. Bluesky is not working again......glad I signed back up in this hellscape. ?

RealCryoraptor

@volcaholic1 Why haven't you moved to BlueSky yet? This site is for the dogs

szu2375

@notparrskerr Also it's Twitter and Tik Tok sides that have problems, Tumblr and Bluesky sides are pretty chill for most of the time.

RanierGrant

@pcfreak30 its going to largely boil down to network effect and marketing, the problem with bluesky is it can't take off into a properly differentiated frontend ecosystem with enough servers to get over the liberal echo chamber hell it has, we're trapped in a marketing/network doomloop

GringoElCamino

Either Bluesky’s servers have crashed because of the collective gnashing of teeth and rending of garments or I have finally been banned.

weiss_hadas

favorite reply from bluesky: major punctuation issues

yampidimp

i just wrote an entire thread about how to use bluesky properly and then got an error message and the entire thing just disappeared ggs

Daminous_Purity

@SwagSociety Don't like it f*ck off to Bluesky and have a cry. What I or anyone does on this platform is fully in compliance with the T/O/S/ and is none of your business. No one else has a problem. Feel free to hit the "block" and don't let the door hit you as you leave the platform.

acvalensVT

@offlinono @nyaraVT Either way I wanna leave it in the past and move on. 95% of VTuber Bluesky feels the same way. It’s the 5% enabled to cross lines and go too far that’s the problem

PepsieSpicie

The problem that Bluesky has imo is that scarce anybody there's a social media normie, they're people whose social media experience was important enough to them that they decided to go somewhere else

doctorow

Bluesky's "composable moderation" system allows users to have the final say over their moderation choices. The EU could perform and/or fund labelling work to help with moderation. 74/

doctorow

They could provide maintenance code in response to bug reports, and administer bug bounties. They could create tooling for server administrators, including moderation tools, both for Mastodon and for Bluesky. 73/

montefae

Anyone on Bluesky? Because I need to know the Hindley Puppyboy incident

veidt_comrade

@zeynep Bluesky is for Americans. It’s useless for anything else

kcorr54

@AZ_Charlene Just catastrophic, for everyone. I had to sign on again too. Are you on Bluesky?

campb45781

@SaintLaurant @GavinNewsom Welp Bluesky is for delusional blue haired folks who can’t accept reality. They made their own network (that’s failing) to defend themselves from society norms. Hanging on to every 20/80 issue they can manage ?

David Law

Website down for anyone else? Fine on the android app

Tricky_Eileen

@BUFFO0N97 I do like the algo on Bluesky so I’m glad I’m on it too. During the recent protests I could actually find info on there while twitter just stopped working

grok

@JimmyBip88 @Sargon_of_Akkad It's not fully clear what specific claim you're asking about, but if it's about Bluesky's status, here's the deal: Bluesky has over 36.7 million users as of June 2025, but engagement has dropped roughly 50% since peaking in November 2024. Some say it’s an echo chamber, leaning

TAttucks

@goblinodds It's the direct cause of BlueSky happening.

KINGVIBY

Bluesky down? Having problems with some things working

mary_ext

@islafone @miaaowing kinda but not really? i mean i don't plan on getting off bluesky when: 1. it's still fun working on atproto 2. bluesky still works for me and i don't have the issues people seem to have

BadRadger

Bluesky is just as toxic as X. It’s still a social media company. Social media is still THE problem. It might not have as many robots yet, but it will. And all the users who fled X for Bluesky will be disappointed again very soon.

AnonsAgainstSoy

@UBERSOY1 bluesky actually suffers from this the least becuase of it's bulky userbase compared to most other alt-sites but it still suffers from it

CRIMEKlNG

If anyone has any bluesky accs. Drop em in mah dms

LamarNicholasB4

This app has been causing problems lately. It keeps giving me the same notifications twice since yesterday. So until it gets fixed,I will be on BlueSky. You can find me there

morritoburrito

is Bluesky also not working for you?

suckasspoetry

Ngl...bluesky doesn't seem to be indie writer friendly. Just me? User error?

corgimom_

@vicksvapor77 I still use Bluesky, although I tweet about BTG more than GH these days. I post there because Bluesky actually works and X is ?. DMs don’t always load here, posts don’t go through, videos don’t have sound—but the same posts/videos that don’t work on X are fine on Bluesky.

YvrThroat

@JustForFansSite I keep getting a “failed to upload blob” error when trying to repost to X and Bluesky

corgimom_

@cdkmkt Thanks. I don’t know why that keeps happening! I post all these videos on Bluesky too, and the sound is working on there, so it must be an issue with this app specifically.

corgimom_

@MBC0801 Thanks. I don’t know why that keeps happening! I post all these videos on Bluesky too, and the sound is working on there, so it must be an issue with this app specifically.

casemation

@bobbyfijan @YIMBYLAND Bluesky is mostly techno libs. For all the issues with purity leftists they stayed here.

Sippysips_

@__PrincessMelly I tried to use Bluesky, but the site just feels so half-baked and honestly has a lot of the same problems Twitter has.

LeneLinski

nice to see that bluesky is currently doing what twitter used to do: informed and prompt news posts on current urgent issues reporting facts, fact checking and no artificial outrage.

runawayplay

@Jaeleaux Hey sorry for the late response, we're now more active on Bluesky. If you mean the bunny called "Panda" they are on rotation in the shop so you should have the option to purchase them again soon! ?

intkingofworld

@StephenKing It’s call Bluesky. You login wrong again. Are you okay? You are stupid.

MukdukTheFirst

@friendlykitties @WindsorBeaver Dancesport costumes annoy a certain minority that would sign up for Bluesky.

chargandz

deleted my bluesky app cause I’ve been back and forth with their support team for days cause I can’t log in. So I won’t be able to reply to if you contact me there. Its seems they have a log in issue cause other folks are having the same problem. Bummer ☹️

pomelo_pot

deleted my bluesky app cause I’ve been back and forth with their support team for days cause I can’t log in. So I won’t be able to reply to if you contact me there. Its seems they have a log in issue cause other folks are having the same problem. Bummer ☹️

grrowl

@dystopiabreaker Interestingly you could host your own seperate Bluesky stack and atproto network but who could be bothered

AdeptAdaptor

Even if it isn't bluesky, I implore you to explore all other options of social media and online interaction. Get on mastodon, open a substack, create your own website, but don't spend too much time on twitter if you can avoid it. This site has earned its fate.

AzNik

Anyone else notice some of the bluesky libs who left X are coming back? Guess talking to an empty room doesn't work.

liarpoliticianz

@Lord_Sugar @elonmusk Why don't you go to censorship loving crap like BlueSky (who admitted they have a child abuse problem on their service). If you don't like nudity (which was there before Musk), LEAVE X. You lefties should stop being offended and imposing your morals on everyone else.

RoseofFreedom

@TheNerdyCatLady done a bluesky and followed you on it, I've clicked the link to verify my email but it's not working so I can't message anyone

MajinBoson

@mocutobi There is a sort of madness widespread on this platform you can find humor in. The neurotics on bluesky aren't funny.

Kiria_teh_neko

Hey im just letting bluesky people know my bluesky isn't working at the moment. Idk why but it works fine when im not logged in but as soon as i do it stops loading ANYTHING. iv tried everything to fix it so... idk are others having this issue today or?

NigelRollings

@melv4760 @LesleyB58051421 Over on BlueSky, today. Problems with X/Twitter.

KariKurei

@transfemdolly_ @0xtiago_ mastadon i believe is the same as bluesky. they are both build on a decentralized system. also both are crawling with a pdf problem and arent that good a platform in general. since decentralized. you can only interact with the ppl in your server/bubble. so limited outreach.

_PiercedHeart

@WooffleDee I hope those who’ve logged off won’t be missing gaster returning,, Hopefully he moved somewhere else, or bluesky

I5uru1

Today , Working on @featuredonmars ✅ Increase mobile responsiveness ✅ Fix ui issues on web view ✅ Post x,thread and bluesky ❌ Still waiting for lemon squeezy aproval #buildinpublic

WASTARR

@mlstrat You’re too popular & broken containment - with the worst of this app interacting with your content. Time to grow that Bluesky following….

LexisLazy

im having issues with my DMs loading (not that its usually anyone more than bots) so if you're trying to contact me, try bluesky at Lexish30 ??

lilasdeath

every couple of months twitter gets glitchy as hell with dms and notifs not working then you migrate to bluesky for a week. can we nottttt

esmerayinmay

my godddd twt is soooo broken now hardly anything works now. time to migrate to bluesky

noctisismyking

@Tifa_Caelum Honestly it's just the "I make up problems to drive engagement" crowd and thankfully they've all moved to Bluesky it seems

cyberangel_misa

And Twitter is acting up again? maybe time to leave and go over to bluesky completely, considering it's si many issues with Twitter:/

vaneydium

Is anyone on bluesky omg twitter is not working

n_hispanophile

@thevtalks @coaiecrete That's because other apps are kinda... A failure. Bluesky doesn't even have image sharing in the DM's for example. There should be an European alternative to X, EU tech sector should work on that.

KateyShion

@Leeqwq21 Mine is august 5th im more on bluesky tho

kisekjs

@sinnohlesbian meee but i might move to bluesky after notifs stopped working :/

TheThinginDBD

X may be glitching out right now X may have DMs not working at times X may have notifications bugging out Even so.... X is still better than BlueSky.
