Yes, I'm getting the same problem. I'm hoping they sort it out soon... I have a deadline today. It's pretty mental how beholden I've become to the AI overlord. I can't even do simple tasks on my own anymore. They will probably do studies on this in years to come.

I’m currently experiencing issues with ChatGPT file uploads. ZIP files appear to upload correctly, but ChatGPT cannot access or read the uploaded file afterwards and returns an authorization/access error. It looks like there may be a temporary issue with file permissions, uploads, or workspace/file access in ChatGPT. Chat itself seems to work, but uploaded files are not being processed correctly. Using the app, all conversations are still there, but any attempts to add to those conversations, or indeed to start a new conversation, gives me an error message of “hmmm something seems to have gone wrong”. Thus far I have not lost saved conversations which is great as others have reported that they have. For reference I have a paid version of ChatGBT and I use it via the app as I find it responds faster and lags less that way (when it’s working). So I guess we just wait.

One year ago @AmazonAlexa announced "AI native" skills for the new Alexa+. They are *still* not available to developers. This system is similar to ChatGPT "apps" which seem to be a boondoggle. It's looking like allowing devs to extend the chat experience is just not working out.

I started using a new approach for large new features And it actually works. ChatGPT Pro for deep research. Figure out the best algorithmic approach. Aggregate docs from every package and service I will use. Understand the problem properly. Summarise it into a clear brief.
