Sunday 15th jan my 70th Birthday i arranged a zoom meeting from UK with my friend in Maryland at 17.30 uk time But neither of us could connect. So disappointing. What was going on?

Facebook streaming into the group timing out. Tested 6 times. All settings are fine in Zoom and the FB group.

If you are on BT, I fixed this by going to the BT fault finder web page, clicking on 'slow connection' and then letting them do a remote speed test, which came up with 'we will reboot your router remotely' and when it came back on Zoom was working. (I had already rebooted the router my end to no avail). Good luck.

Just tried to log onto Zoom to schedule a meeting but cannot get through to Zoom. Is there a problem with Zoom ? This is a service I pay for !!!

Yes- I think BT basically have messed up their connection to AWS. They need to fix it. You can use a firewall if you have one to get around their mistake. Or use another 4G network that is not connected to BT (so not EE!)

Looks to be connected to Amazon Web Services (AWS)- which is also suffering issues- which is the cloud infrastructure they use. That would explain why earlier post had all thier alexa services down as well. Other cloud services I use with AWS are also down.

There seem to be a lot of internet connectivity issues - Zoom is inaccessible and all my Alexa devices are unable to connect to internet

I think i have fixed it bu disabling my firewall. but obviously not a great solution.
