JUMP IN/STOLEN AUTO: 5300 Bl. of Sheriff Rd. Near Fairmont Hts, MD. @PGPDNews on scene investigating an incident with an Uber Driver leaving their vehicle running unattended. That vehicle was stolen by an unknown individual.

@p_ferragu The initial cost, and maintenance cost of the technology for each Waymo car and the cost of human labor to monitor the network to support errant Waymo cars is far more per ride than Uber. Ie, not at all profitable. Tesla is finding out what the network costs are now.

After returning to the airport, I received another delay update until 3 PM. I had to arrange my own Uber and hotel. Couldn’t reach customer service by phone, and gate reps were rude. 2/3
