I tried to log a complaint with @Citibank about this issue. The person I spoke with was not competent enough to even do that properly. I ended the phone call out of frustration. My experience was so bad that I am now considering finding a different bank after roughly 15 years.

There’s no credit card company as incompetent as @Citibank @exxonmobil. For over a month, their Exxon branded credit card doesn’t work in Exxon branded pumps. I’ve called their customer service twice and they said they’re aware of the issue & working on it. I very much doubt it.

@Citibank @AskCiti I met gentlemen who had the same issue as that of me. He correctly guided me to use the bill pay option in chase. So your app is not full proof. No system is perfect. ACK. It needs customer support and guinene troubleshooting to fix customer issues.

Fact: Not one credit union ( all locally owned) or BNS, CIBC, Citibank, JN were affected by the banking crisis while operating in the same high interest environment. There had to be something else that caused the problem.

I've been trying to phone Citi online for three days without success. The operator comes on"We're sorry, your call cannot be completed". I can't log on either- when I try I get a message there's a problem, try later. I finally visited a local brick and mortar Citibank, went to the ATM and got the info I needed- checking account balances and recent transcations. This is annoying, hope Citi gets things fixed soon!
