@UbisoftSupport It happened immediately after the extension was enabled and the Ubisoft Connect application updated. After this happened it wouldn't re-enable the extension but after rebooting it was fine.

@GeneratorRexy @Ubisoft But in HD 2when the initial loading of the map is happening the load time is *always* the load time of the slowest player to make sure that everyone in the squad drops in at the same time, so if it HAD been a x5 difference it would've negatively impacted SSD players too

@Ubisoft For those who don't know: WD2 doesn't work properly since RTX 30-series, making every shadow rapidly flicker. Nvidia have said Ubisoft have to fix it on their end. The only fix right now is to use DXVK, which eats a third of the performance and disables PVP.

So there's a scheduled task for the Ubisoft Connect launcher that is for a "Ubisoft Connect Background Update". The problem is, it's not a background task, so the launcher opens and tabs you out anytime this is ran. @Ubisoft @UbisoftSupport fix this man.

⚠️ Just a reminder: This is not a permanent fix — just a workaround to avoid system crashes while NVIDIA and Ubisoft (hopefully) address the underlying issues with Frame Generation, G‑Sync, and AC Shadows stability on RTX 5090. I’ll update if anything changes with future drivers

@UbisoftSupport Hey there. Thanks for your reply. Sadly agents just kept refusing me and telling me that they can’t send items to my in-game inventory manually (case number: 23724063, 23715465). This is depressing as I have provided evidence showing that it’s Ubisoft technical issues.
