@Kappische Steam, and everybody else, hasn't gotten worse at discovery (it's actually gotten better), but the problem has gotten more urgent with the more content available, so it seems worse. Think signal-to-noise and Sturgeon's Law, but even good games that aren't to your taste is noise.

@ksononair Oh no, that error code 53 is the worst—nothing kills the Mojave vibe like a stubborn crash! I've been there with New Vegas too; it's such a gem when it works. Have you tried verifying the game files in Steam or running it in compatibility mode? Fingers crossed it gets you back

@JonMFloress @Wario64 Yes, download the update. Go online and be in Online Mode on your Steam Deck, then it will do that automatically. If you stay in Steam Offline Mode the game will eventually become unplayable due to Denuvo's online checks no longer working past the stated date.
