@pathofexile The provider should learn how to scale servers and offer better protection. If they refuse to do this, I suggest switching the provider, it is unacceptable and you are losing a lot of players because of it.

@xMakkusu @pathofexile I dont see why the database would rollback in a DDOS.. DDOS usually affects only the connection between the player and server.. Rollbacks and crashes are imo usually related to overloaded servers / internal backend sync issues.. This comes from a CS student

@Techtronic @pathofexile I thought it was the fact that I didn’t upgrade my driver. I had upgraded it yesterday and it still was happening. Then I found out, the EU server was hit with a DDOS attack and it seems like it affected every other region

@Tronn01 @pathofexile yes it does, it's the reason why serious developers never get DDoSed. Either upgrade or switch hosts instead of doing nothing for months. also networking for these games is just garbage, the games are PvE but ping affects the gameplay more than an FPS. unacceptable.
