Mistral OCR and Google Translate both work much better than Gemini/Claude/GPT h/t @josiezayner @draparente However, in both cases I stopped checking after the 1st error after ~500 aas. Mistral was G->C ("transversion"), GTranslate was SSGGG -> SSSGG ("transcription slippage"!)

When you “connect your wallet” to a dApp — like Uniswap, OpenSea, or Mirror — You’re basically saying: ? “Yes, I allow this site to view my wallet info and request signed transactions from me.” It’s like logging in with Google… but decentralized.

Anyone know if there's a known issue copy and pasting from Google Docs into @Logos Sermon Builder on Android? I can paste fine on desktop, and paste from literally any other application on mobile, but just not Google Docs for some reason. It's mildly annoying and super weird.

Another post on boring, but important, reasons that coders should be philosohers. If Google's new OS causes CPU lag on a Snapdragon processor, something serious has been thought out incorrectly. Also, ever since the OS update rolled out, the cell network has basically crashed.

@bryanfcasey This is a short-term effect of relying on Bing's top 10 links as AI's "web search". The solution is Google offering a new UX to explore the embedding space of the whole web. They've been building toward that for decades. A(G)I and search are the same problem.

@thetrainline have you done an update or something? I don't seem to be able to buy tickets anymore on my Google phone - keeps saying "somethings off track" when I go to purchase a ticket. But my husband has no issues. was working fine on Saturday.

@EE mobile data is on, signal is fine. But any idea on how to fix an issue with Google Pixels? Some apps will only work on WiFi, but not mobile data. Seems to be a recognised but not super common issue.

@vcmeysam set the following DNS server address" and manually enter 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 This is Google's public DNS address. For Cloudflare's public DNS enter 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 instead. Either works.
