Updates: It wasn't because of render-backend but there a some issue in my code itself, i've fixed it. migrated the whole backend to AWS too still debating the tradeoffs in my head but hey, it’s working. peace out ✌️

In today’s outage, we continued to see IP allocation failures, even though we reverted the triggering config change and our subnets had available space. We will continue to investigate, and are working on a reproduction case of today’s outage. We are in active contact with AWS

@karhf2003 @farooqkperogi You guys excuse everything. What happened is not a technical glitch. Someone forgot to upload a patch on that particular server. Its a human error. On election day inec turned off the AWS bucket for iREV, no bvas could connect to it. And then throw the word technical glitch SMH

AWS broke my app. Actually, I broke it. I over-architected a Lambda to “scale beautifully.” It died silently under load because I forgot to handle… errors. ? Real lesson? Don’t obsess over “serverless elegance” unless it’s already working. Ship it simple. Then scale it sane.
