Reports about problems with Apple Home

@UTgoHorns @ecobeeStatus They've had issues a lot of times in the past. They really need a local API for their devices for this sort of cloud outage - app can connect over local network. Don't know why they don't do it. There has to be something there for Homekit to work.
I need @Apple to fix their Homekit connection issues. No reason that I should repeatedly have “no response” from my multiple hubs
I’ve been losing my mind over home security cams for a month now. Last week I purchased Eufy cams, but then saw the subreddit about the issues. I wanted Apple HomeKit integration though. Doorbell wouldn’t connect to WiFi. I returned the system for Blink which is on sale.
@nycdj4eva Unfortunately there are zero options that are wireless and use HomeKit secure video. But the Arlo doorbell can be used in HomeKit (with the Arlo bridge) and is completely wireless.
@Malone_Wealth I think home automation, heated floors, heat pump, solar + battery, automated blinds, and gardens are underrated. They pay for themselves many times over and increase comfort + security. In the North East we lost power 4+ times a year. Homekit can simplify maintenance+safety
I don’t have aeroplane mode on because my house isn’t a plane. ✈️ Bluetooth is enabled for the app. The app secures a connection but HomeKit doesn’t. After the app connects about 15 minutes later it says offline and you have to reset it again.
@9to5mac @bzamayo and security is no issue bc allegedly everything is already implemented in a secure way, like they do with homekit accessories!
@WEMO All the non thread switches are now working and the thread models I am able to scan the HomeKit code are working now. I have 3 WSP100 switches that have the NFC tap logo on the sticker that are giving me problems. Who do I DM?
The @apple home app has to be the worst Apple app. After every power cut the only thing to still work is Nanoleaf lighting, every other thread or HomeKit compatible device either has to be reset or readded.
