@pmurillo @joecarlsonshow It's worse than that for Waymo. Waymo is also sharing costs / profits with the vehicle manufacturer. ...And the charging infrastructure provider... ...and in some cases the fleet manager.... ...and in some cases with the app provider (Uber)...

The uber driver who took me to work today was russian and his phone stopped working when he got to my house. After soothingly explaining our wifi outages for 15 mins, he stopped calling me a spy then said "i think they're looking for you" it was so healing.

it was shown at the time of booking that the fare is 92. but at destination it shows 191, I told the rider that I booked at 92, and also the drive choose that route by his own. And the driver told me that it was a glitch of Uber variation of fare before and after Booking.1/2
