After dealing with small models and a broken server, I don’t recommend that anyone attempting to do serious work self-host their own LLMs . The best choice, from my perspective, is to use a serverless provider instead . Worst-case, just fire up an AWS or GCP endpoint with a GPU.

No more IPs left in subnet for #EKS.
EKS uses subnet IPs, not local IPs, to connect AWS services. Luckily, VPC has available CIDR, so I created new subnet and migrated worker node.
Other options? Maybe add a secondary CIDR block to the VPC?

@collin_ruth89 The dashboards for AWS and GCP are an even bigger nightmare.
The problem is that all these microservices are built for internal consumption first and foremost.
The people building the CLI and APIs also build the customer facing bits. So it’s all an afterthought horror show.

For about the last week it’s like all of the things I do on the internet are complicated and don’t seem to work right. Amazon, ESPN, Apple TV, Apple Support, 3rd party Amazon softwares etc

Getting lots of errors from AWS Elasticache control plane in us-east-1 and us-west-2. 503 errors and timeouts.

@googlecloud worst experience ever. I decided to give it a try to compare it with AWS. Can't even get to the console through "free trial" every time ERROR, "give us your another card" once card is OK - "we 'think' you hacked BLOCKED LOGIN!
