After dealing with small models and a broken server, I don’t recommend that anyone attempting to do serious work self-host their own LLMs . The best choice, from my perspective, is to use a serverless provider instead . Worst-case, just fire up an AWS or GCP endpoint with a GPU. -

Is there some kind of major AWS issue that is affecting tons of websites or is it just me? For about the last week it’s like all of the things I do on the internet are complicated and don’t seem to work right. Amazon, ESPN, Apple TV, Apple Support, 3rd party Amazon softwares etc -
Getting lots of errors from AWS Elasticache control plane in us-east-1 and us-west-2. 503 errors and timeouts. Anyone else seeing this? -
