When I launch the Steam game, the loading icon appears and it says "IN QUEUE" until a pop-up message appears stating that the login failed due to a service interruption. I tried launching the game several times over a 15-minute period, same error.

I just fixed my issue after a couple of months, hopefully this works for you, but you must make sure you leave your family group on your Microsoft account. The page doesn't load correctly so you have to hit the family settings top right, keep refreshing, and unlink your account from family. If you have any child accounts linked make sure to change their age and remove from group first or it wont let you leave the group. LMK if this works as this is the only troubleshooting step that worked after trying everything else.

i love losing internet connection mid game, resetting my internet, then seeing a update pop up, updating the game, and then loading back in and my kit is gone i love that so much, the game i lagged out of had 25mins remaining but hey bad luck for me am i right I love this game rn

Servers are unstable and if you get in a match you lag and return/jumps you to the spot you was in. After all those retries to connect I lost stuff that was in my safe pockets as well not returned to me and I never tap on abandon round, just kept reconnecting and loaded straight to Speranza with nothing ...
