i don't know if its just my phone but when I click messages (Samsung user) my screen either stays black, or I will be able to see my messages but if I try and tap on someone it just goes black again. I restarted my phone, checked for updates and did clear cache. near Roseburg and sutherlin.

3 networks and 1 IP phone all went out around an hour ago or a little longer. As a retired IT person, I could not resolve it. I had internet and my sister had internet but we lost all phone service in NW Ohio, Toledo. Came back up in about 30 minutes. My phone said we did not have a registered sim. lol. cut fiber or a tower that carried all 3 services went down for a bit is all I can find. Posting this to help

I have much to share regarding this, however DownDetector continues to mark my comments and updates as spam. Field engineering replaced my ONT with a fresh, all cables replaced, fiber drop which connects directly to my modem without the need for an ONT. No more packet loss, however, I am continuing to monitor this and will have a final follow-up with AT&T corporate on this coming Wednesday a week from now.

3/25/2026: Field engineering replaced the fiber line outside my house and replaced the ONT with just a fiber drop (new modems do not need ONTs). This has resolved my problem entirely. I recommend that you submit a complaint with the FCC regarding AT&T (this kicked off field engineering to visit in the first place) and request the same treatment. Best of luck!

ATT fiber in Kansas has been really bad the last couple of days. Really high jitter and speeds have been in the kbps at times. Especially in the morning. They blame my equipment but everything points to issues outside of my network.

As of 3/23/2026 at 3:12PM ET there has been a dramatic decrease in packet loss. It is still continuing, however not nearly as bad as it was yesterday. I still have an appointment for field engineering to check out the street node tomorrow afternoon. Will update again with the results of their testing.

Network kept dropping for my friend over the last 2 months. I tried separating her 2.4 and 5ghz band for her, didn't help. Now her ATT modem has a red "Broadband" light on! LOL, she thinks I broke it by renaming one of the WiFi networks to "...-5g" at the end of the SSID. Power reset didn't help. I think her ONT is borked or ATT has issues in the street. The MYATT APP AND website no longer work on any browser or device except Microsoft Edge. This applies to prepay and post pay.I raised a stink with Customer Service over this. If they want you to use the website it needs to work on Chrome and Safari and if the app is installed it should work. It's absolutely bunk that they tie you to a pc with one browser. What if you're away or at work and don't have Edge. Unacceptable!

Once again, March 11th 2026, AT&T is having TERRIBLE packet loss in the Atlanta Metro area. I've been talking to support and they are doing the standard customer troubleshooting issues. Anyone experiencing this issue with Fiber internet in the Atlanta area go and submit an FCC complaint since their support is useless and always likes to point fingers to the customers.
