I have constant buffering again today. Day 2. Along with having to turn off the Wi-Fi on my cell phone and use 4g, we can't get 5g in my area. AT&T Internet Air down in rural central Kentucky. Hours on the phone... no resolution and no timeline- was just told "tower congestion" with no offer of a fix or remedy to the problem. AT&T is a disgusting joke of a company anymore. 2-3 hour hold/wait times, representatives that few can understand and they can't offer any solutions, and horrible service. Phone glitches in Honolulu for 2 hours Friday 4-6 PM. My son (iPhone ATT) could reach me by iPhone (also on ATT) , I couldn't reach my son and got the "invalid number" recording. I tried using my VOIP line (Spectrum) to reach him and got a busy signal. BUT, I could reach a landline. Friends on other networks (T-Mobile etc.) couldn't reach me. One of the comments here said they "found news article that says widespread outages due to systematic voice switch routing issue, which is why calls arent working but texts and internet are."

My phones initially said call cant be completed as dialed, till restarted them, now just hangs up. If try to call my phone from our xfinity house phone, it says number i entered is not valid. All of the phones, android and iPhone, are not working for calls. They all can send and receive texts and get on internet though. Even though att says no issues with outages, I found news article that says widespread outages due to systematic voice switch routing issue, which is why calls arent working but texts and internet are. It says engineers will make it priority to fix, but who knows how long it will actually take. Also, some people are still able to use iphones for calls, but not androids, and others like me cant use any of our devices for calls. Argh.

Yeah I think its just where located. Some people iPhones are working but not android, others neither are working..i did find something on the internet finally saying there is a wide spread outage, its a voice switch routing issue, thats why texts and internet work, but calls aren't. They should be working to get it up soon, but who knows what soon actually is lol.

Joined AT&T Fiberoptics in Jan. 2026, but installation stalled bc the Multiple Dwellings Department needs to wire all 10 apartments and the landlord wants the connection underground. So for 6 months now I have had to make do with a very unstable gateway, that often has only 6-7 Mbps download and 2-3 Mbps Upload speeds. The mobile phone signal is frequently at 1 antenna, so even switching from wifi to hotspot isn’t helpful.

I signed up for AT&T business plan with 6 phones and Internet Air on May 1, 2026. It is not May 29. The internet has not worked correctly since we installed it. I have spent over 4 hours in total on at least 5 calls with well-intentioned customer service people overseas and here in the US. Unfortunately, they have no access to the contract or order we signed and require me to to answer the same questions every time I call. It is painful. My experience has shown me that there are no technicians locally who can show up to analyze and fix the issues with hardware for my Internet Air device. I (the customer) have to pull IMEI numbers that they should have on file already (!). Rebooting has not worked and after upgrading to Premium over 48 hours ago out of desperation, the problems have gotten worse. I can't conduct Zoom calls without it glitching and editing any videos is impossible as the programs cannot communicate and we are in eternal buffering mode. VERY frustrated. I do not recommend anyone in the North Phoenix area to go with AT&T Internet Air. Even though it shows that we are connected, it doesn't work correctly. If not resolved by end of day, I will be cancelling and filing an FCC complaint.

AT&T Air Internet has terrible upload speed. While download is running at an admirable 290 Mbps, uploads are no more than 3 Mbps. With my home Century Link internet, by upload is 100 Mbps and upload is 50 Mbps. Think carefully about switching to AT&T for business or if you do Zoom calls on a regular basis - not worth it in my opinion.

Issue with the PCI 444 on my tower out here in Amboy. Even with full bars 5G, very poor network quality no matter what time of day it is. After two complaints to AT&T. They hold the position that nothing is showing as wrong on their end. Absolutely makes no sense!!

Since 10:20 am ET, no AT&T cell service or WiFi in Charleston, SC. Both are down for numerous people. AT&T claims there’s only a WiFi outage and the cell service is fine. They keep pushing back resolution time (for WiFi) and last I saw says 2 am tomorrow.

Rock Island, Illinois 5G data hasn't worked consistently for about a month. In April 24th they told me there was a service ticket on the tower nearest me that will be fixed within 3 business days. Now on May 5 they tell me it's a different tower I am between and it will be 8 days.
