I dont recommend CenturyLink if you have other options available. They absolutely dont care about customer service, or the company they are paying to handle their support certainly doesnt. They apparently outsource their help line to third parties that lie to about repair times and take ten minutes just to respond to texts. I got bounced between numerous representatives just trying to confirm a repair order and they absolutely do not care about their jobs or even actually responding to what you are saying. This has honestly been the most frustrating lack of customer service I have encountered.

98632 here. NO SERVICE FOR OVER 12 HOURS. Have called twice, they told me to power cycle and after that and when it didnt work, one lady tried to sell me on a TV program? No thanks. I WANT THE SERVICES I PAY FOR TO WORK. 3 chats. No resolution. Maybe a tech woukd be sent out but chat keeps crashing. My account keeps glitching. They said the issue has to be in my house... but my neighbors cant keep a steady signal (im watching the networks go up and down all day) and theres no reason my signal would just go dead. I dont want to pay for services that arent being provided- thats actually fraud. What the hell is going on? Its obviously a centurylink outtage (just freudian slip typed comcast because, sadly, centurylink is no longer any better than comcast). I signed up with a "forever" pricing deal and had a contract for that price. HA. Today I got notified that they will be increasing my rates- and my service is shut off, or something.

In NorthEast Portland - Alberta Arts, I've been down for 4 days now ... restoration time keeps getting pushed.. now I am told it won't be restored until Monday at 5. Century Link went down Monday. We scheduled a tech to come out and appointment was scheduled 3 days out. Techs never called or showed up. Now when I chat with customer service they tell me techs won't work this weekend and I need to wait until next Monday. Sounds like Century Link lost all their employees and have 1 guy left servicing Des Moines Metro. So when Century Link goes out you are out for a week. They don't have any staff or technicians to support the thousands of customers.

I have has CLink for 6 years in Florida. 2 years DSL' 4 years Fiber. Everything was OK until 10 days ago... then service was 'spotty'. speeds were DOWN to1Mbs on Fiber - come on CenturyLink. At least be honest and refrain from making me dance on the Reboot cycle everytime I call - and then disconnect from Cust Service. IT IS DISHONEST to treat customers this way. I do not deal with DISHONEST ORGNIZATIONS

@CenturyLink is absolutely one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Systems are messed up, takes a week to replace faulty equipment. Killer to anyone who works from home. Customer service is a nightmare.

@Delilahmyne @Starlink I was paying $110 a month for crappy dsl. I got .5 upload, and 7 for download. CenturyLink was/is terrible. We have no other option where I live. Starlink was a total game changer. I have no regrets, especially when other service drops out, and I don't have that worry.
