When a file is attached to a prompt and then sent, ChatGPT responds as if the file never was sent in the first place. It still asks for the file and you have to remind it of the filename and that you uploaded it.

The ChatGPT will finish the response and then on the website it will just sit there before letting you type another chat. It finishes outputting the response but then just sits there for a long time before exposing the controls such as thumbs-up/thumbs-down/copy/etc and the prompt box still has a stop symbol for a long time after the response is actually done rendering. So this means I have to sit there and wait for it to change to an "up arrow" again before I can do another chat message.

Uploads of files that i am attaching to prompt -- we're talking 50-300 KB files here -- are very slow. It hangs and freezes all the time during the upload and I am having to wait 15-30 seconds or up to a minute per upload.

This is not a spam message it's a user report about my own ChatGPT experience. I upload a small text file to attach to the prompt and it gets, like, 75% done and then it freezes and never finishes uploading. If I click the little "X" and re-upload the file it appears to work but that is still kind of annoying.
