Cox has been down in roanoke county, roanoke city, Salem, vinton non-stop since 6 pm last night. The outages have been reported by thousands and they've made no efforts to remedy it. They state they've been bought out by Spectrum and to notify Spectrum, we notify Spectrum and they claim it's Cox's fault. I don't care who owns the monopoly now just one of these entities fix it already! Insanity!

The scheduled work will take place automatically, and there is no action required on your part. The estimated time of restoration is September 15th, 5:47 AM.

Sierra Vista AZ, two days ago it was down for 2 hours from 12:04 AM to 2:04 AM. Now it went down again around 8:00. I hope this doesn't have anything to do with this Spectrum merger, but it seems to coincide well. No warning from Cox. Very UnAmerican.

12:05:22 AM Today, Internet went down. Alarm on my fiber modem. Looked at all external cabling, no issues other than fiber seemed to be stretched a bit tight, installer should have left a loop, so maybe with the rains the ground sunk and fiber got pulled. Sierra Vista, AZ Area.

I don’t have a start time, my logs don’t go that far. Time for a better logging idea… Modem is indicating 0 dBmV all frequencies. Obviously disconnected, again. Absolutely no redundancy. Cox user account page indicates estimated time of repair 0943. I’m asleep by then, where and how do I just bill them for the day of lost internet?

Had intermittent issues for the last few days. Tuesday it went down 3 times and was fixed within 10 minutes, however two out of the three times the Cox website made it seem like it was a me issue when it was actually an outage so I scheduled a tech twice only to cancel it 20 mins later when it confirmed it was an outage and came back up. It was fine all day yesterday through the horrible storm we had, and it just went down again without warning and is having me try to schedule a technician AGAIN. GET IT TOGETHER COX.

Service have been out in Pensacola, FL continuously since 18 July, 2026. When you call in, all you get is "there is a node issue and our teams are working on it." The problem they ran into is I build networks. I know you can replace an entire node in 4 hours. A node is fancy name for a large router. It screws into a rack. All you do is take our 4 screws, remove the node, slide a new one in, and configure the new node. If it takes more then 4 hours, you have the WORST IT team on the planet and this one has taken two days.

Time 0025 Internet connection reestablished. Cox account status shows “service Issue - A network issue has been identified in your area. (View Details link)”. This area used to at least show estimated time of repair. And to send us text messages of progress alerts. Now it’s completely gone and useless. That link used to go to an outage map. It’s not loading. Also completely useless.

It's been constantly in and out for months here in Norfolk, but consistently every day at least a few times a day. It's currently been down for over an hour and they still say there's no issue on their end. I ran a little troubleshooting and it shows the second hop (their internet) is stalling, yet they keep trying to tell me it's a problem on my side and trying to have me pay for someone to do a home visit. They need to fix the lines outside, that's the leading cause for this specific issue.
