It's been constantly in and out for months here in Norfolk, but consistently every day at least a few times a day. It's currently been down for over an hour and they still say there's no issue on their end. I ran a little troubleshooting and it shows the second hop (their internet) is stalling, yet they keep trying to tell me it's a problem on my side and trying to have me pay for someone to do a home visit. They need to fix the lines outside, that's the leading cause for this specific issue.

This company sorely needs a lawsuit. Charge insane amounts of money for internet that is constantly going down, multiple times per day. This should be illegal, alongside the monopoly they hold in areas like Vegas. Not having any other options and being forced to deal with unreliable service for years is really pissing me off.

February 13, 2026, 1106pm, Norfolk VA Upload speeds are less than .1 making web navigation like dial-up, so I went to Cox site and after about 30 minutes of trying to get from page to page for support, a notification appeared (which took 5 more minutes to display) that said, "Others in your area reported similar network issues that may impact your service experience. We realize this can be frustrating, but we are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible." This was going on for several hours before they finally acknowledged a problem.

Water Line Broke to house - called plumber - they called 811 - had to wait 3 days because thats the law for gas , and any cable or internet company to put there little flags on the lawn, Plumber uses white spray paint to show his path of cutting into lawn to run whatever he needs to run. No Gas shows up, No COx Shows up, Plumber goes to work. Ok, Guess what happened? Plumber found the gas line fortunately before digging hole cause he guessed, but BAAAM went right over the orange COX Cable internet line. Cut right in half. COx cam out next day, and still issues - I hate technology
