Sometimes it affects the orders but I still get orders to load the robots. Haven’t even had any of those. In my area most apts and housing developments are gated which the robots can’t do fortunately. Ironically DD pays more for us to load the orders than they do for the base pay to deliver it myself.

BBusy Spot means a $2.25 order or far away low pay that many drivers will decline and dd wants money and turn on busy Never follow the app screens time / busy / etc stick to your game and disregard busy spots 😉

It’s because every time they send a survey out to dashers, the only people to answer are boomers that say they dash for fun and “a little bit” of “extra money”. DoorDash makes dashing a game because there’s too many doofus Dashers out there treating it like so.

Doordash is so stupid i verified my account like i have 2 other times in the past and it locked me out saying it's not me i have to wait 3 to 5 days to hear back for a verification my ID is the same and also did a facial recognition what more is proof they need a DNA sample haha it's starting to be pointless and worthless doing doordash

I work in an area where they are using DOT. They have sent me more orders today to go load the robot than actual deliveries. How is this a profit for DoorDash? They’re paying me to do the loading. Problem is that there’s no tracker to see where the robot is while I’m waiting. Hopefully they add that feature eventually.

July is by far the worst month to do delivery. School and college are off so parents don't have a time crunch to feel the need to order out. More people such as teachers and administrators are at home and will just cook or pick up a take out order because they have the time. Also, the sports calendar is at its worst this month. A lot of college students and teachers are dashing for extra money and are snapping up those $2 orders like they're gold bars. They don't look at the cost of taking those orders because the credit card bills for gas don't hit for another month or so. Things don't return to "normal" until August.

Haven't been receiving good orders lately. Im platinum and it doesn't mean anything as anymore since they changed the whole rating system anyone can be top dasher. There's no support for us platinum drivers all low pay especially on shopping. All my ratings are high and in a good area.

Shopping pay has always gone up and down like crazy for me. Sometimes for weeks at a time. It’s been almost two weeks now on garbage base pay for shopping orders.

Yes I was a platinum Dasher as of a week and a half ago and then started having the low orders two and three dollars and few and far between at that. my acceptance rating is now at 37% because the app is having issues and they will not fix it as far as my acceptance rating when usually I don’t have a problem getting it fixed. I do not get emails like they tell me I’m going to to fix my issues!

Disputes are only auto accepted - for about 30 deliveries you can remove one late one , which is of course horsesh^t. This metric should not exist unless absolutely dreadfully late drop maybe .

Platinum means jack! I used to be plat and realized all I did was deliver tons of trash to get there. DD knows this and abuse us by dangling plat perks which are just bs. When I was plat my orders were still crap and never got a large order/catering.

Doordash's on time metric is impossible to meet and unsafe. It's affecting my ratings and earnings. For example my last delivery hey expect me to pick up and deliver in 9 minutes totaling 2.5 miles. This is impossible!!! Finding parking, finding restaurant, getting their attention, waiting, then traffic, finding parking at drop-off, then access into apt, finding apt etc. all this in 9 minutes are they crazy?? This is unsafe and unfair. My on time rating is getting hit for things outside my control. Disputes are not accepted. 🤬

Once again I'm getting no orders and I'm platinum. Been on the clock since 9am, it's now noon and not a single delivery has come through. I live in a very busy area. Smh... Come on door dash this is getting old and happening frequently. I've been door dashing for close to 5500 deliveries. Never had an issue until the past few months.
