The misconception is that you should tip a percentage on your total order. Irrelevant. You need to tip on the distance from the restaurant to your destination. The app tells you how far you are so you can tip accordingly. How far we have to drive is the factor for the dasher. If you tip $1 for your $10 meal because “it’s just a sandwich” or whatever but you want it delivered 6 miles, you’ll never get your order.

EEveryone Just start emailing the investors team, ask them why for 6 months the app devs have destroyed the app and lost them millions, and whybare they lying to investors, just to change the app every week to look cool. Its these rich kid programmers doing this for giggles while people's lives depend on full time work. Let the investors know how much the app team is costing them

2-3 days of issues just for the schedule screen to appear different? I don’t see how DD justifies people losing money day after day to make the app look different. Nothing was wrong with it before. They’d save a lot of money if they stopped paying their software people to redo that menial crap all the time.

I was able to force stop the app, and now it looks perfectly normal.I haven't had any glitches, but my neighbor is having issues.He could accept orders, so it's definitely still glitching.But we're able to log in

I was in the middle of picking up/delivering 2 orders. I had to close dasher app multiple times, and still couldn't get logged in. I had to uninstall then reinstall the app before I was able to get back to my deliveries that I was in the middle of doing. Once the app did reload, I also had issues with the in-app navigation. I had to use Google Maps to complete the deliveries.

Did you try to force the app to close, and reopen? If so, and that didn't work, I would suggest uninstalling then reinstalling the app. I've had camera issues before and this usually works. good luck!

Northern NJ checking in. I was in the middle of picking up two orders. Arrived at the first store and pressed "arrived at store", and the app jumped to the second pickup. I had to manually go back in and change my pickup order because I was already at the store the app had sent me to and had not yet picked up the order. Picked up the first, and second order, and proceeded to delivery and the app completely crashed and logged me out. I spent almost 10 minutes trying to get logged back in. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app twice before it would let me log in to continue with delivery. Once the app actually started, it would not load the in-app navigation. I had to use Google Maps to find the customers address. I still completed both orders before their scheduled delivery times, but as soon as I completed the second order the app told me that the order was delivered 8 minutes late. The time shown in the app was still on time, but the app was still listing it as a late delivery. I certainly hope that doordash gets this Dasher app working properly, so that we can all make some money.

It's been a nightmare afternoon driving for DoorDash. It logged me out right after I picked up an order and then I couldn't get back in. And then once I got back in, navigation wasn't working properly. Then when I went to drop off the next order, it froze on me and I had to force quit and restart. Every time they try to fix something or make something better, they break it. Do better! We have customers to support.

I finally managed to get back in, but the app looks entirely different. The map has a black outline for the hotspots with red in the middle. And it looks more along the lines of google maps now.

FinallFinally managed to get back in after uninstalling and reinstalling, the app had to do that twice.Because the first time that locked me out again second time I took screenshots of my customers who I have to deliver to and now i'm using google maps to get there , and then i'm going to try ending my dash after I finish

Personal update: app logged me back in just now; dashes paused with 27 minutes remaining so I assume the system is still issuing orders and doing the pause thing when there's no reply. Good luck to y'all hopefully it gets fixed soon

Back in the day if you declined 3 offers in a row they would automatically pause your dash for 10 minutes as retaliation for not accepting undesirable orders. They were sued over it of course because it’s illegal but I sometimes wonder if they still do that, just don’t tell the dasher they’ve been paused. They do a silent pause on their end.
