Continuing issues with setting up auto or filtered forwarding. Maybe because they do not want to support a competitor? Here, iCloud! Live mail doesn't log into gmail app on android. I go through the login process verify its me with two-factor authentication, then says unable to authenticate. Gmail inbox loads fine. When I downloaded Thunderbird for my email client instead, it was painless.

Web Gmail STILL not allowing one to FORWARD. Previously, would simply not proceed thru set up. NOW, even after supposedly accepting e-mail for forwarding, after saving, comes back as (default) DISABLED…and if one deselects, asks one to AGAIN enter e-mail for forwarding…and if one enters one, comes back EITHER as “invalid” or “already exists”. Bottom line is has stopped working. Glad am moving off Gmail…between these flaws, and ZERO way to get help…well, without paying for Google One

Gmail on the web does not allow one to set automatic forwarding to a different e-mail. Starts to process the request, then simply stalls and times out...does not send verification e-mail as indicated....

Long delay between requesting a 2-step verification code and Gmail receiving it. The code expires by the time it comes through. I sent a test email to myself. That email also took almost 10 minutes to finally be delivered.
