I ran the self-diagnostic and according to it: "It seems that your network configuration prevents Grammarly from working on your computer." It suggests I jump through a bunch of hoops that I know are not the problem because nothing has changed from yesterday to today—not even any software or operating system updates.

@GrammarlyHelp It turns out that the problem isn't limited to the Safari plugin only. When this happens, Grammarly Desktop for Mac stops working—it simply hangs and becomes unresponsive. Removing cookies on the Grammarly site helps, but this is really a non-trivial workaround.
