So there's a scheduled task for the Ubisoft Connect launcher that is for a "Ubisoft Connect Background Update". The problem is, it's not a background task, so the launcher opens and tabs you out anytime this is ran. @Ubisoft @UbisoftSupport fix this man.

⚠️ Just a reminder: This is not a permanent fix — just a workaround to avoid system crashes while NVIDIA and Ubisoft (hopefully) address the underlying issues with Frame Generation, G‑Sync, and AC Shadows stability on RTX 5090. I’ll update if anything changes with future drivers

@PandasaurusR6 @xTristt about an hour and a half ago, all pc players (at the time) got a ban/temp ban bc ubisoft put out a security update that crashed their own servers, so pc players were forced out of their match and was unable to reconnect. in my match, 7/10 players were removed from it.

@UbisoftSupport just got a 2hr band thanks to only me and my mates getting kicked due to "connection issues" from a game, the having the game crash every time I try reconnect until the game finished, thanks Ubisoft, great game ffs

I am impressed how smooth the launch of Siege X was. Compared to other seasons this one is much more important and I haven't encountered any bugs, crashes, server issues or ubisoft connect problems and only heard from very few people that they had difficulties with the update.

@BillyZelsnack My main complaint for the engines I worked with at the time was lack of support for text formattting: automatic linebreaks, bold and italics, boxes that grew with the length of the text inside ... (These were Ubisoft internal engines)

@Rainbowsixseige may be the worst game out there, if you try to get back into ranked an any connection issues you get banned for an hour!! My internet was fine was doing pretty good in ranked then magically my internet goes out an i got banned. @Ubisoft fix your game

E.g. many people agree that Ubisoft games’ UI is overloaded, tho it’s still subjective
