Verizon has been spotty or outright nonexistent in Yerington / Silver Springs, Nevada for at least a week now. Everyone in town is being affected. None of us can make calls. I have had four gray dots as my “connection” for two days; so has my mother. We have both restarted our phones and done troubleshooting, to no improvement. Verizon tells us “nothing is wrong” and refuses to acknowledge that hundreds of people in my area cannot use their phones. I think a lot of us are about to abandon Verizon if they don’t get it together and help us soon.

Since about 2 weeks, there are multiple outages per day. It usually resolves within a few seconds or minutes, but the last one lasted 1-5 hour. Unacceptable for $100/month.

Verizon 5G Home Internet goes down for several minutes a few times a day and is not related to bandwidth usage; the issue spontaneously resolves itself. This has been an ongoing issue since Verizon had a major outage back in February 2026. The only fortunate thing is that I can switch back to mobile data on the phone or use it as a hotspot if I am using other wi-fi devices, though the issue is very problematic during work hours while in Team meetings and usingapps reliant on a Cirix connection.

Verizon Down since 18 April 2026, 9:45am till present, Oro Grande, San Bernardino County, California USA 92368. Dropped calls, Low to No Internet. Sending text takes to long. Hotspot not working. I just got off the phone with verizon and they are up right now in my area it was down earlier this morning. I am in the Baton Rouge and Prairieville Louisiana area Couldn't make calls here's what they said. To restart your phone and I did and now everything is working!

I am getting the same thing when I make calls it hangs up or it calls me back like I am calling myself back with their number like they calling me while I am calling them. They can't hear me. I can't hear them. I do a reset of the network it starts to work then same thing happens again. What is going on here I am in Baton Rouge Louisiana and Prairieville Louisiana.

I'm in Baltimore and my 5G home is a bit sluggish, every now and again it buffers. 5G home at least where I live, has been very reliable so this is pretty unusual! It's not like it's constant but I would say every 5 minutes or so if buffers a little bit.

My husband and I are located south central PA and work from home. No Internet at all via WiFi. Very slow loading time off of WiFi. Impacting all of our devices in our home, including our phones. I reported it to Verizon via the app, they state no reported outages in my area at this time. We did a restart of our devices a couple of times, as well as unplugging and plugging back in, and still no WiFi and very slow mobile connection after an hour of trying to troubleshoot.

Same, went down just after midnight here. The Web site says "No outages in your area" (because of course it says that), but the Verizon mobile app said there is a known outage and that "Service is expected to be restored by 7:45 PM April 1st". Ouch. I'm tethering right now.

As for me, the cellular data was shut off due to a clerical error with the billing. I can't promise anything but contact verizon and see if this is what caused it for you too.
