“World Server is Down” yes, WoW is down right now. There’s a lot of people with this issue. It’s also intermittent, I’ll have moments of it being fine, and it going back down again.

I don't think they own servers any longer. My guess is they out sourced it to "cloud base" service providers. That's why Blizz is slow now in restoring connection, they have to call up their providers to fix it.

@Grummwasabi @Warcraft I mean… I play Rust and on PVE servers people build megaaaaa bases - now THERE I lag. I haven’t had any issues since go live in WoW with lag, just glitches, so I do think it could definitely handle more than 200 per plot.

Hi there. Recent connection issue is probably related to pending OS update. I could not login or connect on Battlenet and saw there was a windows update on my Win11. Rebooted and once the update was finished Battlenet was working again,. Hopefully same thing for others having this issue today. Nov 19 2025
