In an ongoing meeting, everyone’s audio is feedbacking past speech from moments ago (around 5-10 seconds), playing back as a distortions and interrupting anything we say to each other. It even plays while we’re muted.

Trying to join from web browser, the video never clicks on — it's just never-ending spinning ball without progress. It works if you skip ahead and join though. Just causes needless delays over minor tech hiccups.

OMG, earlier today I told a large multinational company that I preferred Zoom over Teams, and Zoom made me sign into my account today, only to not allow me to sign in because of a network issue. Just tried to get onto another Zoom, and it absolutely wouldn't let me in. Just paid another $16.99, so they don't have a problem charging customers; just providing their service.

I realize you are referring to "we" as in Zoom, however, as I was telling Stephen, my IT who works as a Senior Advisor for a huge medical company noted that he was unable to connect with Zoom Meetings at what would have been the 33 minute mark of you systems being down, and yet this system was still listing Zoom Meetings as being g up and running. I POINTED OUT THEIR INFORMATION WAS INCORRECT, and they should have verified with ZOOM Meetings that they were actually up. And yet SECONDS, not mi uses after my post others around the world on here posted that ZOOM was in fact DOWN. Now if you took the time out to tell me how wrong I was in acknowledging DOWN DETECTER was for having out of date information at the time of 12:33 PM PDT when my post was originally made, thus DD WAS NOT FACTUAL, and you verified this in your REPLY Brian Keene.

And yet several people from all over the world within seconds of my post mentioned their outage as well. My tech guy isn't right out of college. He is a senior IT advisor for a huse medical corporation, and was attempting to login to a last minute meeting scheduled by one if their venders. I don't disagree with your comment that "ithers" times would have been different from mine because of where they are located in their time zone. However, when I made my comment, "we" were in the process of getting feedback from ZOOM to begin with.

We're back up now also. I did have to flush dns but a reboot would do the same for anyone unsure of how to do that. If you have physical phones and they are not syncing up - reset them.

Service is back, if you still can't access zoom service, try clear DNS cache. It should be working then. Windows ipconfig /flushdns Mac sudo dscacheutil -flushcache Or try google search "how to clear dns cache"

In Wash. DC area. I was about to host a scheduled call at 4pmEST. I got in fine. A participant messaged saying he couldn't. His error was that a link was bad. I got on w/ a 2nd device with that link. So I went to schedule a new link. Zoom reported connection issues. I saw that Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Slack were facing issues too.

I just started a tech support call, and we found zoom doesn't work for me, he is in Canada and he can access it. It shows google meet and Microsoft teams are also down, I had to hang up on the tech support until I can have them remotely look at the problem, 12 things red, this is the most I have seen in a long time :)

ACK. Teams is terrible. I have NEVER been able to sign into a Teams meeting. Meanwhile, the groups setting up meetings on Teams go all ga-ga over that company, but from out here I cannot tell why. And I'm not the only one who has horrible experience with Teams. I've been on a few meetings that were to be on Teams and the group at HQ has had to dump that connection and move over to Zoom.

It's not a carrier issue. Zoom is having a glolbal DNS issue which is why it can't be reached.

The backend API ENDPOINTS for meetings (CREATE, DELETE) and accounts(CREATE, VALIDATE, DEACTIVATE) are all down since about 2:40 PM EST. We're experiencing a complete outage of some of our automated processes. Update: Tried reaching out to zoom's top-tier corporate-customer service and that phone number is unreachable. Something way more serious than a simple outage.
