@BingWMC On January 13, 2025 my website was suddenly de-indexed from Bing search without any prior notification. It is listed as indexed in Bing Webmaster Tools and has no crawling problems. I have contacted Bing support but have received no information. Please help. -

Bing requires favicons to be uploaded as ICO files. My web host system admin has prevented me from uploading ICO files because they're vulnerable to malware, and I had a malware problem. This is why my sites don't have favicons in Bing. Do better Bing. -

@btibor91 Thank you so much! I figured out the issue - I had disabled the browsing feature when I was updating my custom instructions a while back when Bing search was available. After reactivating it, AVM's search is working properly now. -

@RegimeCPA I mostly have experience with Bing which is basically the same thing lol but its especially bad at coding. I tried using it for some tricky C++ problems and at the end of the day it just can't properly interpret factual information about language specs. -

@sainsburys @BentonDanni95 Surely you can see by the volume of messages you are getting that this is not an issue being caused by customers devices. This is quite clearly an issue with your infrastructure bing caused by increased demand.

Even 4-5 years back I faced same with other websites, Bing would randomly deindex for no reason and then suddenly after 5-6 months it would get back into the index without any explanation. -

I know the Rewards were supposed to have been nerfed already but everything was working fine for me until a few days ago; now both PC & the phone app (Android) are usless at the present time. I am in Illinois, USA if that means anything pertaining to the outage/issues. I'll get search results but no points. @AdvosArt I personally use the bing AI, it also gives you the web pages to get the info yourself and it's very reliable. Specially for the more convoluted searches that would take some trial and error in several web pages and trying a combination of searches -

You didn't have to reinstall Windows. There's an option to change your search engine in the browser, so you could change it to Google temporarily or permanently if you like Google search results. If you want, you can watch some useful videos on YouTube about how computers work, how operating systems and apps like browsers work.
