I checked DeepSeek and it shares many of the problems of ChatGPT. It invents papers which do not exist and when asked about renormalization of current correlators, it gave an innacurate answer. When the error was pointed out it improved the answer but still was not satisfactory -

@tt_ng8 @svpino no it doesn't. certain chatbots or other services trained on deepseek might, but if you have all your training data on a local database, you can train your own GenAI thing totally offline. This is a feature not shared by OpenAI which always needs an internet connection.
