@actualvillainTV @DeadbyDaylight Remove self unhooking entirely, make hook skill checks appear only on the last 25% or so of the second hook stage. It won't fully fix the problem, but it addresses it somewhat, and anyone who decides to just afk to try and get around it is reportable for griefing. -

I’m in Dallas Texas and have been having problems for several weeks can’t get into the game at all it just stalls at the loading screen and eventually says initialization error other various errors. My internet is fine, PSN(PS4) is fine, other games work fine it’s only this game and it’s mostly in Texas having issues. I’ve talked to DBD support via email multiple times and they were unhelpful and at the end said they will look into the issues in Texas but that was weeks ago and it’s still having the same problems. i have been having issues aswell like getting dedicated server not resoponding disconnecting and i have not disconnected at all my internet good and everything like when i play killer and i down someone and pick them up and place them on a hook and i look at the bar and it is not going up i had this happen when i was on the game rn on rpd against a ttv i chase bill as skull merchant i down him pick him up and place him on a hook i look at the bar for hooking him its not going up then after i get dedicated server not responding disconnecting then i get a penalty this issue has been happening alot more frequently sometimes and it just annoyes me that this is still happening and it is a known issue tooJan. 16, 2025 3:49 a.m.on Disqus -

@itzbeavz @DeadbyDaylight ....blight and nurse are still by far the strongest killers, alternatives to the stronger killers are plagued with bugs eg spirit, and the map system still means that a game can be decided by just having the more killer/ survivor sided map -

@Biohazard001 @DeadbyDaylight Former PS4 Pro → Current PS5 Pro. It's probably a problem with the dbd server, so nothing I do will fix it. What I can do is replace the internal HDD with an SSD. If it's Wi-Fi, switch to fiber optic and connect via wire. -

@DeadbyDaylight But this is a terrible self fix. Fix it please. My suggestion is if 2+ Survivors are slugged then all survivors can can fully recover from prone state into the blood screen state... This is lost when only 1 is slugged so last to heal is still slugged. Imo this is the easiest fix. -

@DeadbyDaylight Thank you for clarifying on these issues, however there is reduced game performance even when there isn't an event mode. The last month or two any time I get hit or vault my game stutters, happens on my PC and Steam deck, not hardware or graphics related at all.
