Owned an apple watch for countless lf years with no issues, before deciding to switch to #Garmin, & within the first month, the whole watch stops working, & requires a factory reset. Cool, cool @Garmin -

This @Garmin outage is completely pathetic. After delaying my activity to constantly reboot Garmin eventually reset the whole device to factory settings and after sync randomly deleted half my activity -

@MichaelSnasdell @Garmin I called Garmins Swedish support and they stated it was reports from Europe and US regarding this issue but as far as she knew nothing from Asia so far. My guess however is that it's global. This happend when activating a run activity on my FR 955 and now it's stuck?

Is anybody else having issues with Garmin? It’s been down since last night. Anyway big wind here in Richmond this morning. Tired to go a run but the wind was so rough I just gave up after 3 brutal miles. 30 mph winds with 50 mph gusts. Limbs breaking, leaves blowing everywhere. -

Garmin watch updates have gotten unreliable lately. I just loaded the latest update because of connect/disconnect messages from watch and everything was okay until an update having to do with "timezones" seems to have reversed the situation. -
@DoubleYouPowell @Gmwetz Yes they’re most useful for spotting day to day trends. As the error should be the same day to day. Just not so easy to compare between people and devices. My Apple and Garmin are always a few hundred different despite being worn on the same wrist. -

@ravihanda Bought Apple Watch twice. 1st one crown stopped working in 2yrs. 2nd one, battery problem started in a yr. Apple service sucks for watch. Despite many visits to srvc centr on battery issue, they never investigated properly & it conked off in 14 mnths. Bought Garmin & happy now. -
@GarminSA your service really sucks! We purchased a garmin vivo 4s in 2021 @capeunionmart it stopped working and was replaced in 2022. The new replacement watch stopped working last month and now I am told you only honour a years warranty on the replacement watch.

In a dilemma, both my @Garmin Cadence Sensor 2 have not been working with iOS (or iPadOS) for me since iOS 17 dropped. This is surprising for a major manufacturer on a major platform. It’s been months since they said they get back to me on resolving this. -
Just out of interest is anyone else having a problem connecting to the @Garmin Connect app ? I was kicked out and had to resign in and try to reconnect my watch and guess what…it won’t connect ! -

Hey @Garmin when are you going to fix the broken Wi-Fi on the Edge 840. Looks like it was introduced in 22.18 or .19 and it’s been broken ever since. I’m not longer getting “intensity minutes” either, not sure if its related, given its WAY undercounting on other devices too -
Garmin update—still working through several new requirements to satisfy the API. This will be the hardest issue to solve, taking the longest amount of time due to the amount of new engineering work required.

Update on Garmin: During our system-wide update, we experienced an issue with the Garmin connection. We are working on a fix and hope to have Garmin syncing again soon.

What Was Found · WHOOP smallest diff from PSG for total sleep time, light sleep, and deep sleep, but it overestimated REM sleep. · Fitbit Charge 4 moderate accuracy, with the smallest error for REM sleep. · Garmin Vivosmart 4 largest diff for all sleep measures. -
My son went on a wilderness journey and gave me his inReach link. It worked yesterday, though it took a good few minutes for his stats to appear, then another few minutes before his route showed up on the map. Today, I got a whirling windmill for about 45 minutes, then it showed his travel time and stats, but NOTHING about it on the map. Waited for a while, still nothing. Refreshed the page, now it's back to the whirling windmill. Great. Sure is helpful. Anyone else see this happening? Is there something I can do to fix it?
