Lia

anyone had issues joining servers from the server browser on the website? I can join games through the play button and on private servers fine, but if I join any public server through the server list, it just stays on "Waiting for available server" forever, it works through the desktop app but not the website.

Lana Hirtle

website and pc app not working

DoubleShotEspresso

I did a second round of tracing today, once using a reroute and once without. when rerouting from the Chicago IL, pinging roblox apis endpoint returned very positive result. the last few hops were: Chicago, New York, and Roblox. as for not using one (originating from Maritimes Canada), doing the same thing started stalling after reaching VA. the last few hops were: Boston, NYC, Reston, Miami, and timeout. I'm convinced it's an Arelion issue with some of their select servers, not much Roblxo nor us can do imo, just gotta wait it out from the service providers.

Alexa

I am now unable to join any games now

Thinkbeforespeaking

I actually just spoke to Eastlink Tech. They did do something remotely, and I'm able to get on the game, just not private servers. But as for the big issue, this was the response "Ok i have reached out to my upper level support and they have advised that it's a known issue with Roblox that they are working on to have it restored as soon as possible"

Lana Hirtle

website kinda works but friends not showing.

Cole Adams

im with dlink and its affecting me aswell, its only with certain providers cause my friend RIGHT next to me is fine and he uses bell

zdice

two days to be exact and from a little gut feeling tomorrows the deal im still wondering what the hell is going on to cause this outage in such a specific country

Shadow Milk Cookie

Yeah I'm with Eastlink as well.. sucks how even they refuse to help.

Collins

mobile works but pc and laptop doesnt, any fix?

Sebastien Thivierge

Roblox down can't update games or lunch !

Sebastien Thivierge

Server game down .. lag can't load can't update !!

Janice Lynn

Wonder if it is an eastlink issue, they service atlantic canada and that seems to be where a lot of issues are coming from

Carter

Im with eastlink too

Isaiah

Holy bro it's been down for a day ts pmo 😾

AcapulcoGold

Roblox maintenance fellas are buggin

moon light

it works! try x vpn im in roblox for usa

Saafir K.

bro why is roblox so laggy as of recently?

Janice Lynn

For people that are effected : who is your ISP? I am with Eastlink (a company than has internet lines through them) Eastlink is basically useless and gives me to reason for this issue, and I spoke to 3 reps since yesterday about this.

Janice Lynn

2nd day for me. Who is your ISP? I have a company that runs lines with eastlink

eeqsoh

I've had this problem for like 3 days now...

Janice Lynn

I can't connect with my data. Complete blockout for me,not even any roblox websites work either. Can't even send them a report

zdice

agreed

Janice Lynn

Halifax here, I am with a company that has lines through eastlink. All other websites work for me, just roblox. Roblox site to get on to use the help forum to make a report, doesn't work. Not what you asked, but it seems to be centered around Atlantic canada giving from comments on here. I can't even make a report to roblox because when I try, the site crashes

Janice Lynn

It is ridiculous. Got on for a few mins, the game lagged, then I exited the game to try another one, met with error code 279 again, now the app, browser doesn't work on my pc and phone. Not letting me go on any roblox sites either, so I can't log into my account and go to the help form to fill that out Edit : Can't join any private servers either, some I pay robux for to use

vrix

bro this is genuinely ridiculous

Katie kerr

Roblox isn't working AGAIN....

zdice

i would REALLY like an explanation on WHY this is happening

Cole Adams

The weird thing is, it only affects some games, Ive had this problem last 2 days but like 85% of the games i cant access and some of the games i can play, Im from NS Canada, another weird thing is my friends literally on the same road as me can play, I think its only affecting certain providers, im with DLINK

Alyssa

NNot Too sure never tried it before.

zdice

it feels like they're targeting us

Krazy2

Would a vpn work?

zdice

i would like to note its WORSE then yesterday now there's more areas down

zdice

PEI is down too god this whole situation is pathetic heads are going to roll

zdice

i hope who ever's responsible gets fired that's all i'm saying cause they're messing up almost as much as david is

Alyssa

Here we go again not being able to open roblox in a web browser or open the app!

Alexa

I can now get on its only one game that I cant go into and that's attack on titan revolution other then that im able to play the other games

Jasmine

Roblox fix your game my life is on the line here

Alice Billings

Roblox and the pc built in weather/news tools wont work anymore for 3 days, everything else works fine

Alice Billings

Anyone else here in Nova Scotia with Altima Telecom that used to use city wide here?

Mossie

Everyone contact their local ISP, explain the situation. "Waiting it out" isn't going to do anything.

Tomy Young

Yes Roblox, regional issue. it's spotty throughout Canada.

Tomy Young

Yes -Jargon Introduction | Hamza Boulahia in Towards A

Ghasty09

It's interesting for sure like I can connect to roblox on my cellular data but not my home wifi? Definitely a isp issue not a roblox one

GTMax05

I find using a VPN worked great like nordvpn cause I could change to a US server

Mossie

do you know if there's anything we can do to fix this ourselves or do we just have to leave it

Janice Lynn

.........HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!!!!! DOWN AGAIN IN NOVA SCOTIA FOR ME

DoubleShotEspresso

CORRECTION: the packets sometimes stalled after reaching ON and on attempts to ping the server in the eastern US. it sometimes go through after a long delay, but it's very inconsistent. the stall consistently happens after crossing the border into VA/MA. that part is consistent in my trace.

Mossie

Thank you for your input 🫡

Mossie

It is a regional issue. Read HelpFixIt's comment below to have advice on what to do.

DoubleShotEspresso

im in the maritimes, and I study network infrastructure as well. I tracert'd the connection last night and just about now, looks like the traffic is being consistently routed to MTL -> ON -> east coast US (VA, MA, where there are data centers & servers there), and the stall happens once you get into the east coast US. similar things are happening to some of my other services like Microsoft 365, EA, etc. rerouting my traffic to go to a non-east-coast region (VPN, DNS server, or by using some other advanced network tools that I have) "fixed" the issue. however, it seems like we all have to wait this one out.

Mossie

Not Roblox, regional issue. it's spotty throughout Canada. Don't know if it's the entire country but it is only affecting Canadians.

Mossie

It's CANADA. lol

GTMax05

Yeah I have been trying since yesterday and nothing changed im from pei canada and nothing has helped expected waiting really

EmilyPlayzRoblox

Update: I finally was able to get into my roblox this morning, but now apparently I cant get into my private servers on my games, wth is going on? It keeps saying failed to connect to server or gives me a error code

Thinkbeforespeaking

But it's not just the East Coast. It's Ontario too, so how is it Regional??it's at least 5 provinces.

Ashley Busbridge

Oml roblox fix your servers, the chat restrictions were bad enough

HelpFixIt

Just mentioning what the other person said, this is a “Regional Issue” meaning that Roblox CANT FIX IT. For a Fix everyone needs the call their Internet service providers and explain what’s happening with Roblox and that It’s out east coast wide mostly. Enough Calls = A Quicker Fix

HelpFixIt

look up your Internet Service Providers Phone Number, call and explain the issue to them. they might ask you a list of questions “such as restart your router etc.” but just tell them that it’s literally effecting 1000’s of people and that It has nothing to do with Roblox’s end of things or anyone else’s.

Mossie

how do we contact ISP?

BrokenToxic

Bud most ppl are literal children how the hell are ppl gonna know how to contact that hell I’m an adult and I don’t even know😭

Carter

well this is just great how am i supposed to play jjs now

HelpFixIt

It’s an issue with our ISP’s .. Contact your local ISP and report the issue to them directly. This Should Fix the problem quicker

iiheartClare

Fix roblox so we can play

Mossie

its a regional issue

Mossie

it isn't Roblox! they can't do anything about it. it's a regional issue

Mossie

it isn't Roblox's problem. it's a regional issue

Tomy Power

fix the server

Rental

i haven't been able to play roblox for 15 hours bro FIX THE DAMN SERVERS
