I need to go through extra hoops just to open up my files currently. 365 refuses to open anything straight from my desktop's file windows. I need to go into my browser, head to my one drive through there and THEN hit the file I want to open to get anywhere. It's really not cool and I just wish Word was a separate app again because this thing just makes it less convenient for me, always has.

Update: It turned out to be a Microsoft update that wasn't compatible with Firefox. I've tried reporting it to Mozilla and try it every so often in hopes it gets fixed. In the meantime, I'm using Opera as my workaround browser.

@MSFT365Status I try to buy the Microsoft 365 personal and it does not leave me, every time I put my card it tells me that there is an error in the data and it is not that, I am a new user and try it with different cards.

I can't believe I have to go through all this pain, just to be able to ensure users are logging into our SharePoint Online site with the correct M365 credentials, and to avoid abolutely useless error messages appearing for our parents/guardians. But I can't find another way.

@Runix25 @NOTimothyLottes Consider, for example, previous versions of MS Office being fairly complete products. Office 365 is what users are now forced into using. Slower, buggier, network bound, actively spies on users, more expensive over term, etc. Objectively worse as time moves forward.

Our biggest issue is that we use SharePoint Online as our "Parent Portal". While some information is on our public web site, a heap of content needed to be shared only with staff, students, and parents, so we have a very large/complex SharePoint Online site we use for this...
