The man I spoke to online (Xbox live chat) said it’s to do with the new update (activision - COD) that was released today. Apparently many are having the same issue. I was told to wait it out and hopefully it’ll be fixed.

@Rogue_Echoz @XboxSupport No. They said it’s a known issue and they’re working with the devs to resolve it. It happens in pretty random intervals but I haven’t played it once without it either crashing and sending me to Home Screen or completely shutting off the console.

@fredcloses @ayeejuju Ps3 servers were trash. You may have had to pay for Xbox Live but it was way more reliable. I remember cod mw2 release weekend, playstation servers crashed for 2 days, people were trading in for Xbox so the could play cod, it was hilarious.

@XboxSupport was connected to internet on Xbox series S playing a game. Lost network connection, couldn't reconnect. Switched to Xbox 1, same issue can't connect to my network. All other devices connecting to WIFI without issue. As was the case for an hour on the series S.

@konstant1n_ku @XboxSupport yes this firmware made it even worse on PC bluetooth connection the older one doesnt have a single delay or latency after i update to this firmware i found sometime my xbox controller randomly disconnect and found a huge delay for fixing im using wired for now hope MS fix it

@Xbox @XboxSupport why would you change the remote play feature and remove it from the Xbox app? Why are you “fixing” things that aren’t problems only to create new problems because your solution doesn’t work
