Messenger is a messaging service that lets users send and receive messages and is offered by Meta. The platform was previously known as Facebook Messenger. When Messenger is down, login might not be working, users may be unable to send or receive messages or they get general errors such as server connection error.

@finkuman @jesx64 we do, it's just nowhere near as popular as fb messenger, sadly. the messenger app is so bad, video player sucks, the search doesn't work, and I have to restart it 5 times a day so that the messages even load. nightmare. I think the zoomers are pivoting slightly towards Whatsapp -

It's so strange I'm trying to send people messages in Messenger and it's stuck on saying sending they're not going through it was just working fine last night I'm in Kitchener Ontario. Glad to know it's not just me then. It's so weird because you can sign into Messenger and Facebook but nothing will work though. It seems to be hit or miss because I've just deleted an ad on Facebook and I also deleted a Facebook Dating conversation and I wasn't able to a few minutes ago. Some marketplace messages I can leave the group and delete in Messenger others I can't it will show messages in bold that I've already opened so it's not recognizing that I've opened it it's so messed up. @meralco pls reply to DM. Have been trying to get an update since we reported an issue with our service to no avail. Your call center agents seem to be transferring calls back to the IVR. One dropped the call mid conversation. And no one is responding thru fb messenger either. -
Our main telephone number is temporarily offline as we move to a new provider. WhatsApp and FB messenger will continue to work as usual. Existing clients can still contact their instructor directly on their individual numbers. -

Group chats in messenger is not working. I added 14 people and then wrote my message and clicked send and it does not show in my inbox. on windows, FB messenger is not working at all. FB wants you to install separate messenger but once you login to the separate messenger, there is no way to log out of it. Apparently after Facebook had a major outage this morning features in the site because of technical error issues Meta removed Chinese Facebook accounts posing as US military families. Following the outage one of the features in Facebook affected with technical error issues appears to be a with the Facebook Profiles Photo Albums today. Others including myself have reported that all their Photos except for about 8 Photos in their Albums have disappeared from their Profile Personal Photo Albums.
