I hate to say it, because I never like to see people lose their jobs, especially in this economy- however, when you roll something out, without testing it, in such a HUGE platform with a risk of effecting so many businesses, platforms and such, someone should lose their job. I know this is going to cause multiple people to get disciplined and possibly lose their job, I know I was worried ALL week because I'm new to this position.

Mine went down aroung 11:08 eastern. They should know to test things before they roll it out. I always used to subject IT to the changes, then a bank branch, before rolling it out to everyone. That's just common sense.

Update. It's all (ahem) coming in with wrong on timestamps. It's not all coming in. You can't search your mailbox, like you could if you had a local OST using Outlook. Google hosting is more expensive, but in the 20 years I've had it? It's never been this bogus. Sundar Pichai has run Google as CEO since like 2015. He'd never let this happen. Google tests stuff before they roll it out. They make sure it works. If they're abusing the H1B? It doesn't show. Not like Microsoft.

Using a VPN, private browser, and bouncing around the country with a VPN, the AUTH is working. I had no problems using the MS Authenticater to log in, they just can't connect me to my email. It's been almost seven hours now. Are you talking about the MS Authenticator? I should probably ask that. It's been fine working for me for months. I get why I can't use my Google Authenticator, I think it's silly, I shouldn't need more than one actual authenticator app, but that's beside the point.

Microslop about Exchange Online: We're reexamining recent changes made to the service to determine why the authentication components aren't being deployed as expected. Additionally, we are exploring every avenue to safely restore the components, including potentially reverting an update the affected infrastructure recently received. We're performing additional tests to evaluate the best course of action moving forward. Me: Did they not test this? Why not? Google doesn't have these issues. Everything Microslop touched nowadays seems quite fragile. Maybe they should hire better people? American programers perhaps?
