The man I spoke to online (Xbox live chat) said it’s to do with the new update (activision - COD) that was released today. Apparently many are having the same issue. I was told to wait it out and hopefully it’ll be fixed.

@konstant1n_ku @XboxSupport yes this firmware made it even worse on PC bluetooth connection the older one doesnt have a single delay or latency after i update to this firmware i found sometime my xbox controller randomly disconnect and found a huge delay for fixing im using wired for now hope MS fix it

Seems like there are server / xbox network/ Internet connection issues. Xbox starts but not allowing login and gives message as Internet connection error.
