I'm going to crash out. I can't stand how much money I have paid to EA just to be 0/2 on being able to play this game that I supposedly own. I've had exactly two days this year that I've made time to play the Sims and both times the servers were down so my game was inaccessible behind an arbitrary login wall. And for what? @pixelwifesims you have to turn off your wifi, your ea app will be offline since there's no connection, open up the game that way and after it fully loads up, turn your wifi back on! the ea app will switch back online AND then you'll be able to load your gallery and claim the event rewards

@AmeliaaSimss_ When I had this issue I had to update my drivers and put -dx11 in my EA app and everything worked perfectly fine after that. I believe you’re able to add -dx11 in the text box when you hit manage on the game. Hopefully this helps ??

servers look healthy. if you're having trouble getting into a server and it gives you an authentication error code, exit out of EA App entirely, then reenter. It should fix it. Might get patched soon

@CrazyWeeMonkey @thevorch I hesitate a bit with ABRP as the primary route planner. For one of my trips a few months ago, it would have planned a charging stop at a station that was offline. It was an EA station undergoing maintenance. Showing offline one the EA app, but ABRP was routing there.

@Gabi_st05 if you have automatic updates off nothing is gonna happen. i can have my ea app open with the wifi on and the updates off it doesn’t update. if your really scared go offline open the game and then go back online
