I was able to connect my link by connecting it without internet on my pc and when it was on the loading screen I turned my pc internet back on.

For those who want to fix this issue, google - how to block outgoing connection with oculus dash.exe - This is a very simple way to fix the issue until its resolved by Meta.

disconnect your wifi, and then load up quest link (if you have a corded connection). for some reason it works when you dont have a wifi connection for whatever reason

i still cant get my link connection working from yesterday and today on my Q2. i want them to fix it. if i had to do a outbound rule and that how its will work then sure but it that doesnt work ill just have to hope theyll just fix the link connection. im not also if they asking everyone to get a Q3 just b/c they not making the Q2 which its too much money to get a Q3

If anyone needs a temp fix for it while the services come back online, start link without an internet connection, and then turn on your wifi on your pc. For some reason it just works

been trying to connect to my meta quest link for the past 2 hours, I can't run FBT on standalone quest, as I don't know how to set it up and I'm too lazy to try, I literally got my PC set back up a few days ago and got the internet set up and got to use PCVR for about 2 days, then meta breaks. Glad to know that it's nothing I did to break it though, I'm hoping they push a patch to fix it tomorrow or later tonight

Thank goodness I checked downdetector. It was working fine when I tried it at noon but just spent 3 hours troubleshooting before I realized that it's not my fault.

@squishiepuppy Mine stopped working for me (oculus cv1) on my new rig. Apparently having usb3.1 or higher makes it not recognize the sensors and headset... I may have to upgrade at some point tho going affordable and not supporting meta out of principle is a difficult combination ?

@FrontwaysLarry Also I've noticed many Unreal games seem to have issues with capture. I don't stream but I'd imagine it runs into the same snags. Oculus Mirror seems to output stable for me though.

cool i try to get on the headset i paid 1000 for and it wont recognize my account, so i try signing up with alternate email just to test, now meta horizons app is linked to that other one and i cant unlink it, and even if it works my apps are gone and it wont recognize my main email and says it isnt even an account meta sucks. please someone else make a headset with face and eye tracking so we can get away from this bs

Just a giant big FU to @Oculus @MetaQuestVR. My device no longer connect to my PC after the most recent update, which means I cannot transfer files. Everything was working before and now it can't connect either physically or wirelessly. Not a PC issue. Bed ridden, btw. Thanks.

everything works on my other devices (internet) but my Q-3 likes to sometimes not connect but it usually fixes after a reset, not this time, i did a shutdown, it said it was updating for a second, and then said "connected, cant provide internet" but might just be my own issue
