I have been experiencing a very frustrating issue with WhatsApp for quite some time now. The application is not allowing me to send images, videos, or even emojis in my conversations. Text messages sometimes work, but any media content fails to send, which makes communication extremely difficult and inconvenient. I have already checked my internet connection, restarted my phone, updated the application to the latest version, and even tried clearing the cache, but the problem still persists. Sharing photos and videos is one of the most important features of WhatsApp, and without it, the app becomes much less useful for everyday communication with family, friends, and colleagues.

I'm on WhatsApp and I try to send a picture and post a status, but WhatsApp will not let me do both of them. But I can send a message just fine. And there are two check marks next to the message, it's just doesn't show them as being blue, which means the person hasn't read the message yet.

My WhatsApp account repeatedly gets stuck on "Checking for new messages". I can send messages, but incoming messages are delayed or never received. Other users only see one check mark when sending messages to me. WhatsApp calls remain on "Calling..." and never ring. I only get my messages after 12-13 hours! The issue occurs on multiple phones and different networks. I have already reinstalled WhatsApp and reset my phone, but the problem persists. Last week the account recovered automatically after about one day, and all new messages arrived at once. Today the same issue has happened again. I also sometimes see "Waiting for this message. This may take a while." Please investigate whether there is a server-side synchronization or encryption issue affecting my account.

Around 6:30 AM in Jakarta (20/5/2026), it seems WhatsApp desktop and web versions push you to log in via Facebook. But I tried opening Incognito mode in Chrome and login my WhatsApp via WhatsApp Web; it totally worked.

WhatsApp is blocking people at random for spam. Their Instagram page is bursting with rage from all over the world. Impossible to talk to human personnel, only bot responses. Apparently it should be solved within 24 hours but I doubt it will be the case. The latest update has installed AI bots that use keywords at random and block everyone. This cannot be tolerated. Meta should use human personnel for such delicate tasks.
