My next day delivery was due on the 22nd of Feb. It’s now the end of 2nd of March. Too many chats with customer services to count and still no delivery. It was a laptop so lots of money tied up in it. Today they asked me to fill in an incident report. 8 days late now. On Saturday morning I even got sent to “The Concern Team” where a man guaranteed me he would see to it personally and it would be dispatched no later than 9am Monday with a 10% discount and a confirmation email. I asked him how I could get in touch with him when it didn’t happen. He said oh you won’t need to contact us again as I’m going to see to it personally. Nothing. Of course nothing. It’s rage inducing to be made so helpless by such a behemoth of a company.

Just a thought trying to remember what i did back in the day when we didn't have amazon or any online shopping couldn't imagine having to wait till 9 in the morning when shops opened to go get some retail therapy god we are so lost whilst this app has been down at least its saved us some money for now though lol x

Ordered a same day delivery, but it hasn't even been processed yet. It's beyond the expected delivery time. Customer services is either down, or too busy to reply in over 2 hours. When you click on the customer service screen there is a tiny message saying some customers may experience issues and that's it! I'll be demanding my monthly payments back, as I haven't received the service I am paying for. There have been no Amazon Flex opportunities today either but the TV side seems to be working fine

Yeah im same i cant order anything but if you have placed any before it went down it does show you via your emails the status of them cos I was panicking that not seeing orders id already made and paid for might have been wiped off and wont recieve them but im being legit you can check the status of them via your emails

just tried again and still nothing, the sun and other news outlets reported it online but nothing from amazon, you would think they would be able to tell there customers something but they didnt know anything this afternoon and was told 2/3 hours yeah right its still not working

If you check your emails and click on a past order you have made it does actually let you track your package and check the status of order it just wont show your orders when your going through the normal channel of checking in the app if that helps

Im just concerned about how safe our bank details are whilst the system is down amazon's only downfall is you have to have a payment method set up or else they bombard you with emails to update your payment method and its frustrating shouldn't have to save card details on any app should just be able to input on checkout so hopefully all be back to normal soon and our bank details wont suffer

AWS is usually stable; this strikes me as not being an AWS issues, it's something else (I work with systems that use AWS). DR would involve a total systems outage, this clearly isn't a total system outage. I'm more irritated by their lack of customer communications.

I agree. Amazon may be a game changer but when you pay for a service, the least you should expect is service. Maybe I am selfish for expecting service that I pay for. Maybe my money is better spent on a homeless person with No return. At least I might get a Thank you, not a try again in 24 hours.

The 100 miles was sarcasm. This is what we are going to experience when we rely on an online only option. If it works great but when it has issues we have to accept we pay for prime with no guarantees of service that we pay for. Take money and wait for service. At least when I travel 100 miles to visit whatever at least it's there. Maybe I should be grateful that my prime membership pays for so called space travel than a delivery service. How selfish of me.

Went on my app this morning to check tracking for some orders due today. To find out all purchases have disappeared and all that could see were purchases from prime video. I had to search my orders using search bar and they showed up that way. Also tried to purchase an item today and checkout process just fails and tells you to try again. Tried multiple times. I also went on amazon via browser instead of the app and tried that way too incase was a problem with the app and its exactly the same online too. And we tried on a android device and iphone device too. So is definitely a problem with Amazon site itself.

It’s happening to many of us, if you can see your previous orders in the orders section then you can buy items but it you can’t see anything in your orders section then you can’t buy anything. Hopefully they fix it soon as wanting to buy something

I can't see my previous orders - except Kindle Unlimited for some reason - on the app or website (although if I follow the link from an email I can see the order info). I also cannot buy anything. I can go through to checkout then when I click buy now I get the uh-oh dog screen. However, I was expecting items today and they have been delivered so those of you waiting for items will hopefully be OK.

I’ve got the same like many of us, if you can see all your previous orders then you want to order something you want to pay for then it will go through, if you can’t see anything in your orders & it says you have no previous orders then you can order anything. Hopefully they fix it soon
