Facebook

We haven't received many problem reports for Facebook yet.

If Facebook is down for you, you might be one of the first to encounter an outage - please consider checking back later. It's also possible that the issue is local or related to your internal network or system.

Facebook reports

Facebook is a social network. When Facebook is down, login might not be working, the service isn't loading, or users get error messages such as a server connection error.

Reports about problems with Facebook

Rebecca Field

No sound on lives or video's.

Immaterialist

facebook has been showing problems displaying posts and comments the last few days. Probably doesn't affect the app though (though I haven't tried it).

vaguely

Getting a white screen on Safari, and unable to login on Firefox.

Richey Wilson

Can login giving me an error message every time

Jim

FB now back as of 2:38am.

Jim

FB is not working at all as of Monday 21st September 2026 as of abour 2:20am. PC app is down, but phone app is working ok.

Pete

Desktop site is FUBAR, won't even load - can't use FB to login to anything that uses FB login from a PC, not even here - had to trawl up an old Disqus account to post. Meta have destroyed FB with AI coding - it no longer works and no longer holds any value. If you're reading this - delete your facebook account - it's what I'm doing as soon as its working again. Social media should be banned, globally.

Mr Girthzilla

Desktop website very slow when going from page to page. No other web app effected. Mobile app is fine however.

Jimmy

Repeat of last weeks refusing to let you post - gets frozen when trying to create.a post!

Can't seem to get onto Facebook this morning. (In Maine, USA)

Gussy05

Yes i came here because I went to find a photo and the app says I have no photos. Desktop shows no albums

Alicia Quinn

Anyone have issues with seeing their albums? I’ve been trying to upload pictures and stuff to Facebook, went to add to an album but on my phone it was saying ‘no albums to show’. I checked my page, went to albums and it says the same thing. I went on my laptop thinking it was an app issue and ALL my albums are gone. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Facebook is engineering its own downfall. It is constantly messing around with its code and layout to defeat FB Purity, but is constantly introducing bugs and errors which it never tests for before going live. It is altering its layout to favour phones, when only the most casual users would ever access Facebook via the phone app. It seems to introduce new bugs every single day, because its programmers seem incapable of stopping their obsessive tinkering.

andy
