My comments keep being marked as spam and removed immediately and I’m about to scream. This issue has not been fixed. It’s been a week now and still no access or support or fixes. Yall text CNN about this. This is an international story and no one is covering it. Their text tip line is 772937. Start your text with CNN, then a space, then briefly tell them Outlook has been down over a week with no fixes or support. We need to be flooding them with this. They’re already claiming there is no issue while millions of us can proclaim that that is a lie. If there’s media pressure put on them then they might actually do something. This is not ok.

My outlook email restored to normal for past 2 days, now it's having same error message again (you have tried too many times ...). Is any of you experiencing the same issue right now? This is driving me crazy. Why Microsoft website showing the outage has been fixed which is not?

They’re trying to gaslight and say “It’s fixed!” when it’s been 5 days with nothing fixed. People need to keep actually reporting their issues and not just commenting. That’s why it’s saying “No outages” We’re all STILL down, but people aren’t actively reporting it anymore

I know this has been posted before. I was only able to get in on phone by going to apps/ mail/ add account/ choose from list/select Exchange/ enter info. This happened a year ago on iMac and this week on phone. Selecting Exchange is not on MS fixes. After I did that I varied with my password. Password ONLY worked after I added the account as Exchange in phone app. When I selected Outlook from options I still got too many sign ins etc

I have been wondering if it's because of some nefarious reason. Makes me think it's dumping out email addresses and/or emails into a huge underground database system. I wish if they're trying to steal our crap 💩, they would do it between the hours of 1 AM TO 7 AM. At least that's when normal thieving happens...

It has been 3 WEEKS!!!! I have tried all kinds of things. It wasn't working in my email app on my iPhone. I downloaded the Outlook App and it’s not showing any messages. How can someone even begin to change their email addresses for other services if some services are trying to send a message to my email to verify that I am who I say I am!! May 1 2026 - "Outlook is syncronizing local changes made to items in this folder. You cannot remove this folder until the syncronization with the server is complete." It's unclear what started this. Possibly trying to delete a lot of files because Microsoft is force dumping all kinds of things from our phones into one drive storage quickly using up these online storage spaces somewhat against our will. Ideally we download our photos to a hard drive, not the cloud. This should be the norm. PUtting all our personal photos in the cloud is sheer stupidity.

I don’t know about work networks or androids I had to delete my account and add it as Exchange from the “choose from the list”. It’s been good ever since but selecting outlook instead of Exchange when I readded account did not work. MS is missing a step in their fix

OK on laptop but stuck in too many sign ins with iphone. I deleted the app and can't get back in bc too many sign in message even after one sign in attempt. Going to give it a week at least and then try my phone again. I'm glad my laptop email works and I have yahoo as a backup for my phone needs but this is unacceptable to take this long for a fix. Who is running the show up there???

I was able to login to my hotmail with iOS yesterday (4-29-26) using the manual setup and choosing Microsoft Exchange rather than the Outlook option.

Funny if I go to Outlook's site I can sign in fine, but if I go via my M365 Account site... I get a 401 error message.

Hello All…Microsoft Outlook also went down for me on Monday morning around 0400 ET. This was on my iPhone. I was able to login online later that morning (never could login using the iPhone Mail app). I found a Reddit post which said that in order to login using the Mail app on iPhones, you must select the Microsoft Exchange option. I did this yesterday afternoon and it worked like a charm. Hope this helps!

I figured it out. If you type in a domain name with a dot com, the AI bot here must think it's spam and then removes the post.

Outlook Web App failing after successful login across two separate networks and on the Outlook desktop app on two different computers. Mobile is working fine for me so far. No email visible on desktop since 6:12 PM ET yesterday (April 28). App status says "Disconnected" even after successful login. Go to Settings >> Apps >> Mail >> Email Accounts >> Add Account. It doesn't matter if you already have an account added; just click Next and follow the steps. P.D: Don’t delete your account!

If u r on phone i noticed # of days to sync email was reset to eeek i changed it in settings/apps/mail/accounts/hotmail to no limit all email came back

Hello, Ang. I don't have an answer for you, and I'm not sure to whom this complaint should be made. And chances are, even if one knew, it would be next to impossible to reach that person or a particular department. I have access again at the moment, but I am not holding my breath!

We are seeing issues with on prem sync to exchange online. Sync works without error, but exchange attributes are not being updated. Anyone else? As per MS, this may be a bigger issue than just my tenant.

What I have noticed is that we are not getting nearly the amount of emails we were getting before this. Microsoft needs to get their acts together. People rely on their emails for their business, to pay bills, etc. Anyone else notice less emails coming in?

If your outlook is on your iOS or android mail account it will not work, you have to delete an sign in through exchange When you go to iOS mail , delete outlook ,then click add account Click choose from list then Select exchange Enter your email hit next It’ll say configure manually or sign in - DO SIGN IN And you will be able to to sign in regular
