This isn't an issue Apple can resolve lol. When an app breaks after an update, the developer of the app has to fix it. Apple runs a beta program for 3 months before an update releases, so Microsoft evidently just didn't bother to use that time to ensure their app still works.

Had the GoldenGate27 update this morning, so told it to update. So wish I hadn't as now Outlook is useless. Looks completely different simple fix does not work as I don't have the various steps I am told to follow. It basically seems to be trying to get me to buy either Personal or Family Microsoft365. I had the free version and was happy with that, but now all emails and folders gone. Luckily still working on Amazon Fire. This type of issue use to happen with Windows, but Apple updates have been getting worse for this. Still hoping someone on the Apple Community will get back to me with a fix that works.

Been seeing an issue with meeting requests not deleting from my inbox. MAC, PC, and mobile. Settings are correct to delete after acceptance in Outlook. The message will disappear for a second, then return. Shows accepted. Outlook will send another message if I choose "Accepted" again in the message. been happening all week.

My doctor has been trying to send me emails with lab work orders attached since Tuesday the 1st. Today, Sunday the 6th, is the first time an email has gotten through from her, but the one she sent with the attachment, even today, did not come through. I should have already had the tests and gotten results! This is not ok.

why are billion-dollar companies so bad at what they do? it's so clear Microsoft has overextended themselves into territories their company downright doesn't need to be involved in, and now all of things they're good at are terrible. I am still having issues. Mostly at this point with shared mailboxes - which aren't syncing with my Outlook apps (both Mac and iPhone). I cannot send/receive at all. I can use them on the web app, but there I have issues with attachments.

Just acting kind of "slow" here in Iowa - can't send messages on first try (but they go on the second attempt), can't load messages on first try. Like it's choking on bandwidth or something. Happens to everything, including simple, text-only messages.

Same here in Alaska. Unable to interact with any PDF that was emailed to me, can't open, can't read, etc. The only thing I am able to do is forward it. My work around is to forward the PDF to my personal email and open it from there, total pain! Opening and interacting with PDF's was fine before the Microsoft outage yesterday, so frustrating. Is anyone else having this same issue?

Someone said Yes attachments are not working on the new outlook. A work around I found for this was click drop down arrow, save to one drive, view in one drive, then download to your PC. This allows you to view attachments and print/save them if needed.

Here's the latest from Microsofts Exchange/Outlook status page: We're continuing to implement a targeted mitigation to re-apply core authentication components, and we're expanding this action more widely across the affected environments as we closely track the recovery of affected downstream scenarios. Users may notice gradual recovery to the scenarios identified in the "More info" section as our mitigation action takes effect in their corresponding sections of infrastructure, and we're continuing to review whether any additional actions may be required to achieve withstanding recovery across all affected scenarios. We'll provide an estimated time to resolution as soon as one is available. They should have another update around 7PM (CDT).

As of 5:40 PM (CDT) Microsoft updated their service page saying services might be intermittent right now in some areas. They're slowly rolling out targeted fixes on different environments and their infrastructure so you may be in one of those scenarios. Hopefully full mitigation will be complete soon for everyone.
