Again, downdetector is still on Gemini's payroll. Still moving the baseline up when users report. And says no problems with Gemini. Sigh

GrayhatBlackDragon

If you were doing “physics” it was attempting to fix it using a newer more accurate framework that has multiple third party fidelity checks… 🤷🏻‍♂️

Mike Metzger

Gemini destroyed my project last night and contaminated backups on 3 different drives. This morning 10/19/2026, it fails to do anything. It constantly says the service is currently unavailable. 10 weeks of work gone. I need another tool, not this garbage. I'm paying 100 a month for this? I'm about to cancel everything Google, phone, youtube, AI..

Tomy Power

saving the google gemini

Mikey163

its saying "Something went wrong and an AI response wasn't generated"

Kelly Law

Gemini just stopped responding to me now. It's hanging on the loading part of the conversation.

Tomy Power

Yes. Gemini 3.5 Flash can make mistakes, like every AI model. Check important answers before you use them.

Rose

On my phone, the App is struggling badly..I can't even load the website right now. Google browser is also being glitchy.

Opportunist

downed again, lol! what is happening to Google lately???

Dmitry Y.

Come on, I have a Google AI Pro subscription, and I don't even really use the Pro model, just Flash mostly. I physically couldn't run out of tokens after a couple of messages. But anyway, the error was in the chat itself, so I had to start a new one, and everything was fine there.

lorax

That's when you're just out of tokens for the day, usually on the free models. Can happen if a request or two are especially large even if you are technically not over for the current time period. There are some tricks you can look up for nudging it to work again if you're using Gemini as an app or a web page. But you may be close to wanting to sign up for a usage plan.

lorax

Flash 3.8 is "experiencing high demand" all this afternoon, never seen that message even once in the last month so either they're in the middle of rebalancing or re-provisioning some equipment or this really is a perfect storm of usage somehow. Sunday... (I'm using the API, not the app or AI studio, just the APT through gptel in emacs)

Dmitry Y.

Xydroc

they have been under attacks for months. this isnt new news.

Xydroc

Jay

i ended chrome through taskmanager and rebooted chrome and its not working for me

Xydroc

gemini has been up for me for about 10min

Not panicking, just had a followup question to a chat I had yesterday. I initially sked Gemini if it was down and it couldn't answer me. An hour later I went back to the chat and told it Downdetector said it was down. It then basically blamed the hiccup on Downdetector, which I find rather amusing. 😂

Xydroc

are you able to run local models like on a gpu if not there is antigravity by google as well cursor and claude i personally run local models as well as using cloud models

บรรณวิชญ์
